The Lazy Gardner
Hi I'm new (first grow) and been a lurker for a while not only here but another forum as well where I learned how to garden organic no till method (still a student). Im very picky on what I will put in my soil. I let my microbes do the work and I only intervene if needed.
At the moment I'm growing two Taskenti feminized. Lets talk soil. I have two fabric 10gal pots. My mix consist of Canadian sphagnum peat moss with pumice, half local bagged compost from malibu and half vermicompost which is compost ran through worms. It also has oyster shell flour, gypsum dust and basalt rock dust. Amendments are kelp meal, neem and karanja cake, and crustacean meal. I also have the following which are used every now and then. Neem oil, humic acid, agsil 16h (potassium), alfalfa meal for the triancontanol part. Aloe vera powder, malted barley for enzyme teas, coconut freeze dried powder. I think that's it lol. In my no tills I also have a cover crop growing to keep the mycorrhizae alive and keep a communication system via roots to help your main crop. Trimming is important or it will over run your main plant. So all this good stuff will be growned by a mars ll 700w(output) 350w actual usage. I might need another light when in flowering stage. With all that being said, I respect and appreciate this community and especially CBG and ACE crew for letting these cultivars be accessible to us. Thank you. ![]() Oh and i hope to keep this thread active so please everyone feel yourself at home. Mi casa es tu casa hermanos y hermanas. |

Hey mate, sounds awesome. I grow outdoors in a no-dig plot. Lots and lots of good mulch and like you let the microbes and worms do the digging for me. Plants love it. Will be trying some Ace sats next season.

Hi Mick thanks for stopping by. Its so much better when nature takes over lol. You know plants love it.
I also got some malawi, double thai, and panama from ace. Mango haze by Mr nice. But im a small scale grower just for the wife and I. So it will be a while til I run these. Though I hope to still get Oldtimers Haze soon before security gets tighter in the USA due to terrorism. |
