The wholesale prices are going up since a few months. Clones in big quantity are hard to get at the moment. Does that effect other european countries as well? (like germany , england etc)

I think you might be right there. A mate hasn't been able to get any here for a while so had to pop over to Venlo. I know that Coffeeshop weed in Venlo is generally around €5-6, he payd 8 this time

Allthough, your averadge American eats 3-4 times as much Kraut per year as Germans do, so I think that term's a bit dated
