"THUNDER"....(Insert rest) Anyways, Liquid Sword is indeed the shit, fo shizzle. Good to see another Atmosphere fan, Trying to Find a Balance and One of a Kind are two damn good songs. I forgot to mention them earlier, but Black Star is a damn good union. I really don't like Kanye West, but combined with Mos Def they really have something going on. If you haven't heard them yet check out the song Deffinition, it's wicked catchy. |

irishslapop, some good choices there. Have you heard the new Blackalicious 'The Craft'? Gift of Gab still bringing the dope rhymes.
vortex G, LOL I know what you mean. Ive got 10k or so and alot of garbage too. lorax, that nucular war scenario just might do it. Shits getting pretty hairy these days, but thats for another thread. The fugees are an example of something I have slept on. Same with digable planets for that matter. Both have crazy nice female MCs, something I used to think was an oxymoron. laxpunker, my personal favorite from Blackstar would have to be K.O.S., love that track. Its funny you would mention Definition, one of my college professors (a chick actually) was all about hip hop and mos def inparticular. Definition was one of the tracks she played for us. Damn cool teacher right there, integrating hip hop into the lesson plan. I would probably marry her ![]() Atmosphere is the shit, if you ever get a chance to see Slug with Mr. Dibbs, DO IT. Dibbs gets DOWN on the wheels of steel. I had a chance to see a show with Dibbs AND Abilities, and of course slug and eyedea. At some point in the Atmosphere set eyedea and abilities came out and Dibbs and Abilities freestyled on the tables while slug and eyedea ripped the mic. Best show I have ever been to. After the show slug, abilities and eyedea just kicked it outside BSin with whoever wanted to talk to them and signing autographs. Printmatic was at that show too, that guy is real down to earth. This thread is taking off! I love hip hop

no doubt on immortal tech. That man has a wealth of knowledge though, 'The Poverty of Philosophy' is a perfect example. Nice beat, some depressing shit he's talking about.
That song will give you a whole new look on illegal immigration. I still don't advocate it, but when the US is a HUGE reason another country has it fucked up...some food for thought for sure.
