Its a variegated plant I came across while screening a population, she has a completely chlorophyll free 'sport' or shoot. This is what happened when I flowered her... not the first I have seen and propagated, but certainly the most vigorous!
'Pinot gris' and 'Pinot blanc' are sports of the popular Pinot noir grape, recognized by an astute grower and cloned, then subsequently propagated for mass cultivation. wow very interesting, I've seen light bleaching under LED's but this is different, more creamy and not bleached out looking. very interesting, thanks for sharing!
