VermiFire Opinions?
Hello board. Recently I've been hearing good words about the VermiFire soil mix.
I've been told by two separate vendors the charge lasts a month. 3 months by another guy. The solo person I know using it has some nice looking plants in it @ 3 wks in. But those have a tip later of 1 cup EWC. I'd like to hear back from others on how it's doing for them as well others experiences with the mix. I currently have some seedlings in cups right now so I'll be finding out for myself. Hopefully some of you will share you opinions. |

Well so far I've been using it for about 10 days or so now. I planted some Ken's OG F2 seeds in the soil. Out of the 14 planted 12 have popped up. I gave up on one and the last was plated about 7 days after the first round.
1st watering I added Hygrozyme @ 8ml a Gal, Grandma's Molasses @ 1tsp a Gal, & Great White @ the recomended dose. Two days after the watering there was a very noticeable bio web on the top layer of the cups. So far all are healthy. Pics coming soon. |

I am about to replant my GH SSH in some, 3 gallon for the indica pheno. I will tell you how it goes. I am going to add EWC, Indonesian Bat Guano and Peruvian Seabird Guano and some Xtreme Gardening Mykos.

Very good product, as far as how long the charge lasts would depend on how big and how hungry the strain your running is.
I've been told 2-3 months same as most quality mixes (non-time release). Just a warning, you may want to start tender seedlings in VermiSoil and not VefmiFire. Some seedlings can get burnt from VermiFires hot mix, also says that on the package. I've started many seeds in VermiFire with no problem, I've also fried seedlings. With the price of seeds it's better to play it safe. |
