I just walked in and the lights were out, before I could open the door, the light was back on??? I went in and the light went off.. 5 minute anxiety rush (day 75 Bloom) as it sorted itself out.. it was the light cord that screws to the fixture had worked itself loose. They say its easy but seems there is always a new way to fail.
Till you got to the part about the cord, I thought you glued your light bulbs into the fitting

??? not sure where you're going with that but there is no glue on any electrical connections. Locktite on the power supply cord wheere it connects to the light, nothing electrical involved. Yes the cord supplies power to the light (LED) not the electrical connection of both..

if your seedlings are streching out, they will eventually grow straight under strong enough light.

I just read in a scientific paper that the plants stop length growth / stretching with temps higher than 39-40 degree celsius. Maybe handy for some.

A cheap and effective humidifier is an old blanket or quilt. Those things will soak up a lot of water and are easy to hang on a couple of nails. If you need to, put some ind of tray under it maybe. It doesn't actually ruin the item so you could swap it with the ones on your bed when ever they are dried out

That's true. I've had to prop a few seedlings up with paper clips when they stretched up too fast and got top heavy.

They will right themselves if you baby them a little. With the price of some seeds, it's totally worth the trouble.

You can also pot them up so that much of the elongated main stem is buried under the new medium

What part confused you?

The part of your post that confused me was you starting by advocating the use of glue on "any" screw "connections" in your grow.

You then said that you discovered a light had a problem.

At this point it sounded as if the "screw connection" you were referencing in regard to glueing, was a light screw connection, partly because of the story so far but also because "screw connection" is a term thats more applicable to electrical lamp connections than threaded fasteners.

FWIW, I got what you were saying in a good-natured, gentle-ribbing kinda way. And I giggled. I might even have snorted.

No harm, no foul.
