Yip with you there. Whether it is a mental challenge or physical. It isn't easy. Especially when it is still illegal.

Speaking about illegal. If you have to make a drive, loaded or not clear the search history on your phone. Things could go bad if it falls into the wrong hands.

It might not matter so much in Colorado but those other places...

A simple screen lock w/code or password solves that problem.

Growing is as hard as you make it with the skills you have. A person that decides he's going to climb Mt. Everest by just going there for his first climb without any training is probably not going to do so well and will surely struggle. This example isn't great because I don't think growing weed is anywhere near hard but maybe I'm a minority with that thought.

I personally think 'cannabis nutrients' are the biggest scam ever. Cheaper, easier, and better normal garden nutrients are my preferred choice. Almost painful for me to see the concoctions people put together to feed their plants with 17 different things then ask, "What's wrong?!!?"

I guess it depends on how much your running and what type of system. Running a few soil plants wouldn't be to hard. But if your doing a bunch of buckets or tables with multiple lights - that's hard work. That's just my opinion though - I like things to be just right and I bust my ass to make sure things run smooth.

Anyone else care to chime in on this,m or is it just me that thinks growing is hard work? I also have a bad back from multiple car accident so it's really hard on my body to be hauling water and stuff. I am going to set up a fully automated system next run,

Which reminds me that I want to put a link to Pico's drip system build with pvc and 1/4" feed lines - Iam going to build a few of those I think. See if I can get a link on her for anyone who wants to build an awesome drip system.

Well I was being a slight smartass , I have an engineering mindset so taking you literally, growing the plant itself, easy peasy. Now managing a larger grow? That's work and becomes more work as the grow expands. Regardless of how much automation you put in, there is always manual work but automated stuff can surely simplify, I like your thoughts on a drip system.

Edit: And for the record, I'm 29 with a good back and I don't like carrying buckets of water .

Ahh ok I didn't catch that good point, the plant does the growing

I have just run a couple test pots with small pump on a drip and it's so much better than having to hand water - I think the hand watering days are almost over - however I like to water each plant individually and spend time in the room, good place to relax and the plants love when you pay attention to them.. But I just can't take it while working full time. There is a tip for all you old injured growers - build a drip system and then you just maintain a reservoir and you feeding times

Never throw any electrical appliance away without first castrating it's cord! You have no idea how many times it comes in handy to have a box of "free" electrical cords for repair or invention....
