55% is where I seal the jars....takes 10 days dlow cool drying to get to that point for the flavor to come out smooth and strong.

It should be noted that humidity is RELATIVE to temperature- RH! So 60% RH at a temperature of 20degrees C has a hugely different amount of water than 60% at 15 degrees C.
That may account for some differences. |

i personally have never measured RH when drying. I do the turkey bag cure with multiple pounds in rubbermaid totes. just know i dont like it too dry, i like being able to squeeze the bud a bit and have it stick to my fingers without turning to dust. If it gets too dry i will put some fresh stems in the tote overnight to bring up the moisture a bit before sale.
different people prefer different levels of moisture. I have one buyer who likes his stuff bone-dry

I use these to finish my personal stashes, they also fit on pints and quart size jars just be sure to rotate it and I close all night and open in day or visa versa depending on odor

well I did not read but the title and opening post if I am lucky. But I saw 62 and thought "right on". In a basement room, I dry and never cure and the humidity can range from the upper 30's to the upper 70's, but I find when it is 62 plus or minus 4 as it is quite often, everyone who smokes it loves it! Maybe that means nothing but got to hope it was helpful somehow!

55% for smoking is how i like it. anything higher and you have to roll joints really loose or they don't pull.
in the jar i generally store when they're at 62%, and the first few buds i pull out i will bust and then leave the pile sitting for a few minutes to dry out a touch, then roll it. i have to do the same with a lot of local weed shop stuff as well. seems most growers around here go for the bag appeal, and a lot of vapers prefer a higher rh% for vaping. |

A friend showed me some bds today that he's been curing with 69% boveda packs. My first thought was these buds are wet.
