Of funerals and such........

A member of my immediate family died recently, closest person I have ever lost in my life.
I know she is in a good place and death is a part of life, we grief for us. Our loss of being able to to talk to and hug this person.

But anyway, I was way in the country, no internet access all week. That usually drives me nuts but not this time. The neighbors and church congregation were amazing. Food was brought in, flowers sent, offers of guest rooms for traveling family members...the community was great.

We didn't have to anything but make the memorial arrangements and visit. I remember growing up that is how it was in my town when someone passed, but it amazed me that it is still the exact same way.

Love thy neighbor, and they live it.

Ahh sorry to read(but good in a good way(Lol if u see what i mean))*SMileS*

I agree with last post tho(by steel)
Time is the only thing that will ease the pain
Time wont make you forget
but will make it so u can remeber certain things, with a warm feeling(rather than a gutted feeling))

Good luck
And Dont feel u have to be morbid(not that i am saying you are)
I have been to a lot of Funerals(of close family memebers(Had to organise quite a few(Never forget having to phone my aunty to tell her her brother(My father)Was dead...She just would not belive me(I was only like 15 at the time))

And they have all been funny happy events...No one in my family was ever religous. So it just be shits and giggles from the time we arrived*SmileS*

Again good luck(And smile)
