Starbud Sister fem
I am growing some now, 5 seedlings that are a week old under a 400w mh with adjust a wings avenger, 0'9 x 0'9 x 1'7 m. They'll flower under hps, same wattage. 4 will share space with 4 super skunk and 1 lilly, all fem. The other one will veg indoors but will flower outdoors.
Soil is 70% soil, 30% coco (with trichoderma), extra perlite, worm humus, a bit bat guano and arlite on the bottom. I'll be using organic/bio ferts. I'll post some photos when they're bigger. As I haven't found almost no info about the Starbud Sister I'd like to know, what phenotypes may I find? Are they light or heavy feeders? What about the stretch? 2x,3x? How is the plants structure? Greetings from Spain! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here they are after almost 2 weeks of veg under 12/5/2/5 photoperiod. There is some leaf deformation, but i'm not worried as long as there's no lost of vigour. I'm feeding them with biobizz root-juice. They're in 5l pots, I put them there last monday, same time as the pics. C'mon hortilab crew, how's their growth pattern?? Stretch?? Branchy or single cola? Cheers. |

Well here are some pics of them at chop time. Flowering was started 11/13 and ended 9/15. They had some cold temps, min where at 15C at some point. They were all different, but smelled similar between them with light variation. Lots of smell, lanky and medium-low yield.
1 was very indica with fat leaves, no branching and low stretch. Smell was earthy and hashy with rubber undertones. It was chopped with 60 days. ![]() ![]()

3 was similar in plant structure to 2, but bud structure was very different. Smelled like 2 but with a bit less intensity, but yielded more. Chopped with 68 days.

4 was the one with tightest internodes and best yield, but less smell of all. It had more stretch then 1 but less then 2 & 3. Smelled mostly of rubber, followed closely of earth and the hashy tones were almost not noted. Chopped with 68 days.
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked number 2 most of them, but we'll see after they are dried and cured. Cheers! |

nice, 2 & 4 had similar profiles but 4 yielded more, 4 sounds like a keeper. where does the #2's high fall % indica/sativa?

It's 2 & 3 that have a similar smell profile, 2 smelling more and having more resin glands, that's what I liked about her but I haven't smoked them yet so we'll see how they are after some cure, will post my thoughts about them when they're ready.
Cheers. |
