CAN YOU TELL ONE C99 PHENO FROM ANOTHER IN VEG?

From 10 fem c99 seeds which i vegged to the 5. node 5 are a little bit slower growers, little less branchy while the other 5 are more sturdy stronger... vigorous...all pretty 10 uniform more or less

can anyone differ pineapple pheno from the grapefruit one in veg stage? I don't have room for all 10 in my veg box anymore and I'll have to get rid of a few

From my experience with C99, if you rub the stem you should be able to tell if its grapefruit or pineapple

Peace

Thanks, its how I selected my pheno of C99 Hybrid..., its still in flower so can't comment if it was actually the correct decision but it should be as the others didn't have this hot pineapple stink & are more grapefruit or earthy..... I did find a midget pheno that smells of curry??!

I assume germinating 30 beans of C99 Hybrid is going to throw up a lot of variance in phenos with its dodgy parentage........

Peace

got pics?

my pineapples usually have skinny leaves and lots of side branching. Not much smell when rubbing their stems with a rubbery feel. The grapefruit will smell when you rub the stems.

High LostTribe

Is your pineapple pheno from C99? Mine is from C99 HYBRID by female seeds which has maroc & Nevile's haze genetics in the mix... So will be different to yours I guess.

Do you have the double serrated leafs?

Peace

Mine are C99 and my current pineapple has skinny leaves, is more sativa with a bit of stretch to her and no double serrations. Not sure if my pineapples had the double serations or not. I know the grapefruit does have double serrations though.

My pineapple has skinny leaves but no double serrations either, I asked about the double serrations as Bros Grimm original C99 had this trait and as FemaleSeeds breed with this stock I was expecting to see it myself. I have double serrations on my Iced Grapefruit from FemaleSeeds.

I believe the mosca C99 line is not as close to the original C99 as FemaleSeeds C99, thoughts?!

i only got one of my FS c99 to pop, it is a unique, strongly apricot pheno. i've seen generations of crosses, the apricot smell predominates, sometimes evolves into a nice orange smell.

i guess i'd have to say it's closer to pineapple than grapefruit? at least that's how i've been thinking of it. it's healthy, fast growing, sparkly genetics. so there may be wildcards in there

Working Man is on a distinguished road
Any updates? I have 10 C99 from G13 Labs going right now, they are about 2" tall, I germinated them 4 days ago. I have enough room to get them big enough to clone, get the clones stable, then flower them.

Love that C99.
