The effects were so clear/energetic/giggly that we made a gravity bong and pushed the limits a bit. Everyone who tried it was laughing, loud, generally ridiculous and noting the minor psychedelic effects and electric body buzz for a few hours. All of the Zamaldelica x Ethiopians are still flowering - I only took down sample branches to see how each plant was developing / smokes. I expect that the taller, spindly plant will be closer to 15 weeks before they finish, probably 13-14 for the other two. Ill report back on the final smoke when they come down, but I want to give them a chance to finish throwing hairs. The fans are curling for a number of reasons. The tallest tops of the Mauritius x Ethiopian that are up past the LEDs are curling to try and point themselves at the light sources beside/below them. All of the other curled leaves are due to over fertilization. I tend to feed all my plants till they tell me to back off and then try to maintain that line until about 10 days before harvest when I switch to water and blackstrap molasses.

The LED penetration test continues! We're now 6.5 weeks in and the 2.3m tall Mauritius x Ethiopian continues to stack without any appreciable loss of thickness to about 1m off the bulbs. I had to zip tie sticks to my previous sticks as the branches were starting to droop all over the place under their own weight. We're contained for now at least....
Bud detail shot: Zamaldelica x Ethiopian update: The mango-citric Zamaldelica leaning plant continues stack in a very thai-zamal fashion. Its been flopping over, bending and or breaking branches from its flowers. At 13.5 weeks, it looks like it has 2-3 more, though now that the main stem has snapped, I may end up killing it before that. The topped Ethiopian leaning plant is more a collection of foxtails that make up big buds rather than nugs. At 12.5 weeks, its just about done (1-2 weeks left) and I cant wait for it to finish. The runty fruity smelling pheno will probably be done in a week as well. I haven't sampled this one and I have no idea what to expect as its growth structure isn't very thai-zamal or ethiopian looking. Its too nuggy and smells like a weird mix of either side - flintstones mango-lime-berry vitamins if that makes sense.

Terpene your descriptions of the taste and smell of your plants are amazing. Are you a sommelier? Much better than a wine review. You definitely have convinced me to try and get the ethiopian leaning Zamaldelica x Ethiopian. Been lurking for months. Great thread

Thank you for the huge compliment.
![]() Rotten grape juice isn't my thing, beer on the other hand is my jam. My pot wallop icon is a photoshopped Victory Brewing Hop Wallop logo. For those wondering, its a decent, east coast style, piney, hop-forward india pale ale.

13 weeks and the topped ethiopian leaning Zamaldelica x Ethiopian is finished:
This plant has really evolved over the last 13 weeks of flowering. From lemon-dill pickle to mango-lemon-cream-pie is a large (and very welcome) change. Early lowers off this plant were a great time, I am really looking forward to the final effects.

14 weeks and the mango citric untopped Zamaldelica leaning pheno of Zamaldelica x Ethiopian is finished as it needs to be. Several of the stems have snapped or broken under their own weight, so I decided it was time.

Awesome buds, terpene, inspiring what you do with the leds. I gotta say, I'm having a hard time dropping the HID and trusting these to do the job, especially with stretchy plants. After your pics I'm feeling pretty reassured
