There more pics/ info in the afterthought autos (PRIVATE BREEDERS) section. See what we and others have done.

GROW ON, whatever it may be!

So there are a few thing that have me a bit boggled, and was hoping you might help me out Aridbud. From my understanding she should have a citrus smell. Now I know her smell is going to change, but on stem rubs she smells like old school hair dye. There are smells of acetone, and turpentine. I can only really smell it on stem rubs, but when I do, it is REALLY strong. Also, I was curious if Cord Verde naturally grew with little to no under brush.

To answer your questions, I'm not sure what you mean and which strain you are referring to as far as "citrus smell". You ordered mainly berry type strains. Please expound.

Cord Verde was a work coming from a wild ruderalis found in SW Colorado in the San Juan Mountains, originally on a hike in the wilderness...we found a few pockets (not intentionally placed). We don't pluck leaves keeping them in their natural state. Other auto growers do pluck leaves . It's a matter of preference. Because the genetics of Cord Verd (crossed with Alaskan auto), I'd say, leave it be as it might hinder normal growth pattern, stalling slightly if leaves were plucked.

More intense light to shine down into the plant is what we recommend or LST.

So far its been a fun grow. For the size restraints I placed on them they are doing great!

I just put another Azure rocket, and a Spumoni in the soil! They will be grown in 3.5 gallon fabric pots. The AR has a pretty good amount of flower on it. I can only imagine how much better a full size plant would be.

As AB said their are more pics of their gear in their forum. Check out Dickcorns thread, it has a nice mix of genetics. It would give you a better idea of what they can do.

Thanks for stoppin in bud, take care.

The plant in question is the Cord Verde. I lost my catalog and notes due to a PC mishap. I thought she carries a citrus smell, but I may be mistaken. Would you mind posting the description so I can make new notes. That would be helpful.

As far as plucking leaves, I have only removed 2 from her under side. She naturally grew with a bare bottom. Even if it is not a common trait, it has been very handy for circulation.

CORD VERD
This strain is a genetic mix of Matanuska (Alaskan) auto, along with a lower Rocky Mountain Ruderalis (San Juan/Sangre de Cristo). She produces a swift cerebral all up high. This strain will be ready to harvest in about 70 days reaching up to 24” (56cm), some, depending on grow mediums grow smaller making for an ideal conceal plant. Part of the "original" Matanuska Thunderf**k, both created in a smaller mountain ruderalis hybrid. The flavor is a pungent, unmistakable, orange-citrus. The aroma from this lady, once burnt, will fill a room with her sweetness.

Even if there is a citrus aroma, it's not in all pheno types. We don't breed according to flavor/smell. Yours evidently has a different profile.

So the Azure Rocket, and Cord Verde females where harvested, and have been smoked.
A more detailed journal can be found at auto flower network. I use the same name, and the harvests, and smoke comments are in a thread titled "Fuggy's happy little trees".

Over all I was happy with my Afterthought seeds. I have pollen from a azure rocket, and a psychofruit x guerrilla ryder prototype I personally nicknamed crazy ape. At the time there was no given name, if that changes, I will call it accordingly.

I have made seeds crossing the crazy ape pollen, and cord verde mutant, and am pretty excited to grow these out. The parents where both stunners in my opinion. I am also growing out some seeds made with the crazy ape pollen crossed to an amnesia photo. The project is to get 1st hand experience with breeding, and learning the auto trait better.

Although popular beliefs say it is not so, these seeds are capable of performing well in a micro grow environment. I do look forward to the larger ladies too though. More of that in the above mentioned thread too. Take care.

A more detailed journal can be found at auto flower network. For those NOT on AFN, a summary would be nice here, on IC Mag or in the Autoflower subsection...

Glad Azure Rocket and Cord Verde came through, and satisfaction from customers....that's nice to know as well.

We do offer larger autos, however, yours in the small space seemed to thrive. Well done!

Will be listing on Great Lakes Genetics in the coming weeks.
