I use guano tea and kelp for flowering...

Flowering nute tea mix:
2/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano
2/3 cup Earth Worm Castings
2/3 cup High P Guano (Indonesian or Jamaican)
5 tbs. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
@ 2 cups/5 gallons of water EVERY watering.
You can use queen size knee high nylon stockings for tea bags. 3 pair for a dollar at the dollar store. Tell 'em you use them for paint strainers. Put the recommended tea in the stocking, tie a loop knot in it and hang it in your tea bucket. The tea should look like a mud puddle. Agitate the bag in the water vigorously. An aquarium pump and air stone will dissolve oxygen into the solution and keep the good bacteria (microherd) alive and thriving. Let it bubble a day or two before you use it. If you find you are making too much tea and having to throw it out, use 2 1/2 gallons of water and cut the nute amount by half.

Hello all,

Burn1, is there anytime you would give a big dose of N in mid-flower-say at 4 weeks of an 8 week strain?

Also, my teas don't look like a mud puddle- now the froth on top is brown and mucky looking- but the water is the color of a mild tea-light tan/brown-not clear but not mud neither.

I use per gallon of water:

4 tsn ewc
2 tbsn guano (3-10-1)
1 tbsn molasses

Full stenght liquid kelp just before watering I hvae pH issues when I bubble with the LK in the mix- the pH jumps to above 9.

Anyway, man, I just don't wish to have an N def again- I know for sure it hit my quanity hard and likely the quality as well. I have had some taster buds and they are not to bad- the up side is there is very little chlorophyl taste for no cure so I am looking forward to the cure.

Anyway, what about the N shot at mid flower- they are starting to yellow from the bottom up and thus far are just effecting the old leaves. This won't last.

So, do you think the N in the guano will do every watering will hold toill the end? or should I hit them now with the shot of N ?

Minds_I-
Check my recipe Bro...
Peruvian Seabird Guano has enough N to get you through. Don't use PSG on the last two feedings to reduce the chlorophyl.

Yeah, I was hoping you would say that.

The guano (3-10-1) should cover my needs nicely then with liquid kelp and the molasses. The kelp has humic acids as well as the other gooodies. My soil is in good shape- should have no issues-cross fingers.

Now, with regard to the tea color- as I said- my teas are not muddy when I bubble (common air pump and stone) but they are the color and opaque like a regular tea.

The froth is a light brown and looks like a good strout ale actually. Guiness comes to mind but I would prefer to drink the tea to Guiness.

Now if I shake the jug up then it is black and you can't see through it- Am I supposed to pour in the ewc/gauno remains of the tea?

I know I am using the propper amounts so I am confused as to what you mean by muddy?

PS: Since I have been using the guano teas- my plants seem much happier this go around.

EDIT:

B1, after looking into PSG it occurs to me that PSG comes in many NPK concentrations. As well as Bat guano's. What are the NPK values of the guanos you use.
