Relentless Genetics announcement
Hey guys,
First off, I'd like to say how much I really appreciate all of you. The response to the thread requesting testers has been shocking.. Messages continue to flood in and now we have a very long list of qualified testers! Up until recently I have relied on my good friend in the carolinas and myself to test the crosses we have made. Because of our limited amount of space we have been testing at least 3-5+ females per crossing when we make a lot of crosses and 15-20+ females per cross when we make fewer. Everything has been going well. A while back we released our most recent line utilizing a couple of nice males from our Fire OG bx2 line. At the time my garden was full so my partner in carolina popped and ran a few females from each cross. He reported back on them, producing some real fire! All seeds popped, a few crosses had more males then females, a few had deficiencies and were picky, but none herm'd. On this forum, st@x, and a few other places there are current and finished grows using seeds produced from the Fire og bx2 breeding of mine.. Fire Cookies v2, wifi v2, 818sfv fire, and others have been grown out without any problems at all. Some did note they were sensitive, esp the fire cherry cookies.. But some growers said they were some of the most fire buds they had ever seen.. A couple of days ago a good friend of mine and seed tester, Osiris(testy), who I respect very much as an experienced grower, reported back that he found a few early herms that displayed both traits straight from flower in the Glue Fire OG and Fire Cherry Cookies line. While I understand herms do pop up in these inbred dank lines, I dont think they should pop up at the rate they did for him.. Like I said, we havent noted any herms found when we tested any of the seeds from the bx2 breeding, and no other growers have reported back with herms, including a few growing fire cherry cooks and glue fire og, but osiris got a few in both crosses so I want to do everything in my power to let everyone know so it doesnt catch them off-guard or do any damage. I know some of you already have these vegd out, I suggest using caution moving forward. If you dont want to risk it I completely understand and would like to replace the pack of seed with something proven that you would like. Please keep in mind that right now I am remaking Elmers Glue as well as some other fems and new fems like Frosted Cherry Cookies(will need testing). From now on new crosses will be run by multiple growers and everything published online with pics.. Many packs of each cross will be grown out and documented. We have decided to cut back on the amount of crosses we are making to concentrate on even better quality and more seeds per cross instead of more crosses. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused. I understand how valuable your time, energy, money, and space is in this hobby and a herm can seriously screw things up.. I really do appreciate the love from my fellow growers and would like to make sure each person that bought a pack of our seeds is satisfied. As always, if you ever have a Relentless Genetics seed that doesnt pop, or it herms early or late, or you just arent happy with the results, please contact me and I will make it right! Please dont give up on us during these growing pains, things are about to get very interesting with my partner and I moving to Colorado very soon..

This is why your the man relentless.... nothin but class sir.
Proud to be testin for ya brother! I ran the fire og for years an for what its worth it is the most finicky easily pissed off plant ive ever run the first to show any issues if anything is wrong. But whens shes happy..... Look out She even yields nicely with the right conditions. Part of me really wonders if its not this kind of thing coming into play with the fire crosses? I for one am stoked on your decision, Youve got some real special lines that really deserve the extra work! |

I like when breeders stand by their products. Right on man.
I'll have to check out some of your stuff as soon as I can. It's getting a little silly in my place but it's fun so what the hell. Always popping new beans checking them out |

Class act bro.
![]() Thanks for coming in here and taking responsibility the way you have, it really shows your values. I'm very happy to continue supporting Relentless Genetics! In the end, it's probably something about my environment and hopefully nobody else experiences anything similar.
