Breeding Philippine Landrace Sativas - Tips Please?
Aloha Friends,
I have recently come into some Philippines Landrace Sativa seeds. From Sagada. I would like to breed these to find something more chill, kinda a less psychedelic sativa high.. Don't get me wrong, I love a pyschedelic trippy bud any day, but I also like variety, and this is all I currently have to grow. I can only grow about 8 plants at a time. All outdoors, full sun for at least 10-11 hours a day. Does anyone have any specific tips about these plants? thanks

Talk to Dubi from Ace Seeds he had worked some Kalinga from the Phillipines awhile back, not that same variety but maybe has some insight that could help.

If many seeds...
Select as many mothers as you like (preferably after smoke test) & pollinate with as many selected fathers as you like. The more parent plants you use, the better your chances of finding what you are looking for. If few seeds to start, Open pollinate siblings then select from resulting gene pool. In this case select out (remove) any plants that do not carry desired characteristics. In either case, keep seed from various mothers separate. |

Hi friend, I recommend not give many nutrients, are somewhat sensitive to them, give them nutrients little by little, only when they need it, this variety as most Asian are hermaphrodites, especially males, try to select plants fewer features hermaphrodites Give, and in the second generation initiate another round to try to eliminate that trait. Have patience, luck!
