It doesn't look like that's going to happen for a long time knowing our government they even said cannabis has no medical benefits which is complete ignorance. What's your take on this?

Thought the same about mj laws in Aus. but we've finally had a move in the right direction, thanks in particular to the efforts of a mother, whose son found great relief from the Herb for bowel cancer.
Her sons suffering really touched the Premier of NSW (a politician with a conscience? Who woulda thought?) & now there's light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Most people under the age of 50 know that Herb is safer than alcohol, tobacco & most pharmaceuticals, which kill hundreds of thousands every year.

There's plenty an individual can do. Be a voice, organise petitions, educate with pamphlets (not one recorded death due to marijuana use for e.g.).

There's a thread here somewhere, that reports a UK petition that gained over a hundred thousand votes in one day (or was it 200,00?) Push it. Have friends sign it. They can't ignore the people (nor the facts) forever.
Apathy & expecting no better helps to maintain Big Pharmas 'profit before people' hold on society.

There will come a day when our beautiful Herb will be accepted & acknowledged for it's therapeutic value world-wide.
The only question is when.

The recreational side doesn't surprise me, as our leaders don't want us to feel good- they want us working every hour there is and paying tax on it so we can support their ridiculous idea of being a world power in such a tiny country ( the British empire is gone people, admit it)

The drunks who run our country hate cannabis and everything it stands for. Even tho they been profiting from it medically for decades.

Plus if everyone smoked weed no one would want to war with poorer countries no mo.

I reckon America will go back to illegal status before we go legal. But u never know if another bad resession hits us the revenue maybe to much to "just say no"
