Ah yes, usually, but..... mmj's most effective recent campaigner, Lucy Haslam, has been pushing this very point on Mike Baird. PEOPLE NEED IT NOW! was her very next step when told "we'll look into it."

Lucy Haslam is the very person we needed at the right moment in time. She's a trained nurse, husbands an ex-cop, as straight as you get. Mike Baird met her son Dan (poor bugger looked like crap) & went to his funeral. He's been affected by her rational arguments.
Not only does she have his ear, she also has the medias gaze.

Lucy says she's seeing this through for Dan. She's a mum, you watch, she's far from finished.

I'm actually starting to get more optimistic. Having not heard anything much since the first announcement, it's my hope that the pollies are discussing what changes should be made towards mj laws in general. It'd make sense.
