Just curious, anyone ever reverse a male then reverse a female and pollenate the reversed male with the reversed female pollen ?

That's a cool idea. I like how you think. What about reversing part of a male, and pollinating it to itself. All male seeds? Seems like it would be a good way to find males that have certain desirable traits, that normally would only show in f2's/outcrosses in regular m/f seeds.

I'm sure I've heard of breeders using the technique mentioned above to preserve male lines, not a new thing.

I dont think you will get all male seeds from this. Still xy and xy, it only works with females because of the xx and xx only giving xx. With xy and xy you will still get xx xy and maybe yy. The thread I linked above has sam explaining this very well. Edit: Even reversing the male and reversing the female and crossing them I dont think would change much, but it's worth it just to document it.
