no, im not the ol bill ahhah. Im a grower in spain at the moment and im looking forward to moving to the UK in the next few months. Id like to bring my genetics down to england and id need to set up a room. Problem is that i am not an electrician and i do not know how to wire and bypass the meters. Here in spain i allways had an electrician do it for me and probably the meters in the UK are different from what we have here in Spain.

im not sure how the electricity companies work there in the UK. do they check power consumption? will they see that i have 2,4kw usage between 12 to 18 hours a day? I d like to setup a a 4 meter room with 4x600watts hps setup. here in spain everyone is bypassing the meter without a problem, even just for regular usage and not growing.

If you pay for your power you won't have any problems! When u speak to them tell em it's a shared house. With that wattage you have no probs what's so ever!.. Just pay for ur electric ffs! Can be as simple as having a think copper wire but please don't do it lol. Why the move to eng? R u Spanish?

So just a little more information. In Italy if you use 2.4kw 24/7 the police would turn up at the house, is that a possibility in the UK? Because the amount of kw usage is suspicious. Is there a limit at all that i have to watch out for? I don't mind paying but if it's going to wrack up £1000 pm that's going to look a little odd to electronic companies too. In Spain I've been working with 25kw growroom for 2 years without problems.

Anyway for anyone that has something useful to say would be appreciated.

*edit I know someone who bypassed the electric recently and was in a cell before he got to 12/12 for that reason.. How about staying in Spain?? And keep running the 24kw op? We have sweet seeds to get Spanish genetics thank ya very much!
