well ive got two male plants and im wondering what can i do with the leaves? i got some trim from the clubs so im sure i can get high off these things, can i just cut em and dry em out and smoke the dried leaves? if so how long would i have to cure them? do i have to burp the lids to prevent mold?

I hope that the trim you got from the clubs was female bud trimmings, and not male fan leaf. Fan leaves in general, male or female, wont get you high. Trust me, and the 10,000 others who have tried. Trichomes need to be present, for plant matter to contain a significant amount of THC.

I have indeed heard of clubs selling shake, fvolcano/vape users like it I guess, but it was decent grade A bud trim/broken up popcorn buds, not fan leaf, from what I understand. I hope that is the case. I have never bought it, but those I know who have were generally pleased, which leads me to beleive it wasnt fan.

Still, you can try if you want. I doubt curing would be necessary, just dry em and smoke em. If ya want to cure 'em, just do it like you would buds.

female fan leaves carry THC, maybe not at a significant level where you would just dry and smoke em...but they make great for b grade hash if they have been flushed

If you have good genetics, you can get high off of the new growth shoots. This is regardless of male or female. You will not get very stoned but it can take the edge off when you are dry. Don't bother curing it. It will taste like shit either way. Just dry it, roll it and smoke a joint or two to get you where you need to be. But like I said, you need some good genetics.

If you let them air-dry a few days they'll get you buzzed. And the longer you can refrain from smoking them the less nasty they will taste, but they will never taste great---not compared to buds.

While we're on the subject: Many people also claim that male leaves or flowers won't get you high but that's bullshit. I have smoked male leaves and they get me as buzzed as female leaves. And as for male flowers: I have gotten stoned from smoking them. I usually wait until their pollen begins dropping out and then harvest them and air-dry them for a few days or weeks.

Mind you: I am a weed fiend and let nothing go to waste. And yet having said that, I have tried smoking stems & seeds and they did nahda, zero. Have also tried boiling the stems to make tea---and again got nothing, no buzz. It's been my experience & understanding that the active buzz-ingredients are ONLY in the leaves & buds---not the stems or seeds or roots. Even boiling the stems in alcohol or oil does nothing.

It breaks my stoner heart when I read about how some growers rip up their isolated males and throw them away or use them as compost

man just dry the leaves and grind it up to a nice powerd and mix a joint worth with some peanut butter and put on 2 crackers and cook it at 240 for 20 mins, and you will get stoned trust me. i been doing that with my leaves i made some the other day and was way to stoned for my own good i dont watse my time smoking it cuz the lil buz aint worth the trouble messing my lungs up.

Man that's truth. One time as a gag (and to punish my weed fiend of a friend thats always leachin off me because i grow..) he asked if I would bring him a J and being the generous guy I am - i did! However I started laughing my ass off because I just took a bunch of male leaves that coincidentally had been dried for 3-4 days that I was going to just snip up and flush... I crushed them all up and rolled a nice leafy J out of it. We were drivin to the botique to get a scale and he asks if I want a hit - im like na man.. i'm driving and I never drive high. So he sparks it up and starts puffin away and after a few drags he's like - "dude, this tastes kina funny." "I'm like - thats weird. Nothin funny about it I don't think." He finishes it off and starts telling me about how he's starting to feel pretty buzzed. I'm thinking it was his usual BS but then he starts talkin like he duz when he's fucked and I told him that it was just a bunch of male leaf. Quite fat I must add - nearly a gram. .7 or .8 I think? Anyway - he did get totally baked. I was like - wtf - the joke's on me... So fellow growers - don't waste the precious leaf! Unless you have just way way to much bud on your hands. =)

I used to get stoned daily during late spring and summer off female tops. (newest leaves) Surprisingly, they can be quite potent. I put them in the microwave on the lowest power setting (even lower than defrost) and cook till dry. In my micro, it takes about 10-15 minutes.

i have all so water cured the leaves it help a lot but i rater cook it my self it hit harder and last a long time some times 8 hrs most its like 3 to 4 hrs just made some iso hash with female leaves will see how it works out the first wash i got a nice amber color hash the secoundf wash wich i let sit over nite gave me some nasty tasing black tar going to try that in a few and see if it will lite me on fire lol
