Testing Technology
From what I have read in various articles cannabinoid levels are not only strain dependent but very harvest/batch dependent...meaning that something like Cannatonic, known to be high in CBD, can churn out harvests with little or no appreciable levels of CBD.
Given that reality, would it be possible, or are any companies in development, of a product that could be used to do at home testing of levels? Obviously they wouldn't be nearly as accurate results as sending it off to a lab, but it could be useful information, done on a harvest-to-harvest basis, for breeders, growers & medical patients alike.

Y'all get where my thinking is, right? The ability to do an at-home approximation of CBD or THCV levels would be really helpful to the medicinal patient that grows their own, it would probably be too much of a financial burden for them to send a sample from every harvest to the lab.

- There's that device called MyDx (basically an eNose)... ask user Oldchuck for more information
- Send in some samples to a lab: This is about as fast but more accurate - Use TLC, either ready-to-use kits or done right - Log in at Kickstarter or sit together with some friends and get yourself a more expensive device. Second-hand refurbished HPLCs aren't that expensive and even a GC might be in if you ignore running costs.

cannatonic is a cbd hybrid, so not all plants from seed have the same ratios or levels or even cbd.
