I think the United Nations needs to repeal the 1961 Single Convention Treaty..it would set a lot of countries, free to act.

if the voters don't vote for it, it won't happen. more money for entrenched investors in keeping it illegal. legislators that scream about the "will of the people" only care what the people think when we agree with them. otherwise, we are but ignorant children that must be herded through life by them. the pharmaceutical & legal industries are going to fight tooth and nail, and lie like children caught in the cookie jar to the bitter end... Last I heard over 50% of Americans support legalization. So ya, I trust the American voters. I feel like this is going to be a slow and steady race and we will overcome. If there is ever a time for patience it is now.

I dont think the majority of American people (and other peoples of the world) are knowledgeable enough about the cannabis plant to make an informed decision. Too many years of reefer madness and drug war and not enough genuine and honest education about the many benefits of cannabis.
