YES WE CANNABIS - FLORIDA LEGALIZATION BILL

https://floridafreedomgroup.com/index.php

Quote:
FULL TEXT OF THE PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT:
All people in the State of Florida twenty-one years of age and older shall have the right under state laws to
possession, use, and cultivation of cannabis. This right shall not be infringed except that the transfer of
cannabis by purchase or sale may be regulated as necessary to ensure health and safety.
"Cannabis" in this section is defined as all parts of any plant of the genus Cannabis, whether growing or not,
and the seeds thereof.
The provisions of this section are severable and if any clause or sentence of this measure, or an application
thereof, is adjudged invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, other provisions shall continue to be in
effect to the fullest extent possible.
Print It. Read It. Sign It. Smoke It. that last one is the weed.

YES!!!! I was just about to post this initiative as well, but i wanted to give the forum members a rest since I've been in their face a bit the last two days.

This initiative has almost NO limits, correct? No plant limit, no possession limit.
Unfortunately, it's not nearly as popular as the other petition *yet*.

This would indeed be heaven in paradise.
So happy to see all these initiatives happening in FL at the same time.

Please, if you're a Floridian and you're registered to vote, SIGN ALL OF THESE PETITIONS. One or more may not make it, and we need every chance we can get!

Dude... Did you read what you wrote?
Even this post comes off as negative. I'm beginning to see a problem w your communication style.

Instead of saying...
Quote:
one or more might not make it
try saying
Quote:
one or more of these could pass
I mean... The negative approach you use is detrimental to the message you are attempting to communicate.

I hope Floridans pass this initiative...
The other one is useless.
Read my sig for why.

"Ah, the eternal optimism of youth." But reality and fact is a good thing sometimes too.

That 58% loss last year was for a medical bill. Legalization is a wholly different issue so I don't see how that number can even be used as a point in this argument.....But who wants to argue anyway?

Anyway, I just want to sign and send all these petitions. I don't discriminate . But Does a medical bill still need another petition?

If someone would be so kind as to post links to all these petitions, all 3? of them? Lets keep it simple for us stupid people My idea is to print, sign, and send all in the same envelope. Might save a buck in postage. I'm cheap and lazy.

Edit: UH..."NEVER-MIND" . I see they go to 3 different addresses. So my brilliant idea wouldn't work.

That old saying "divide and conquer" jumps to mind here. AND you need to be a registered FL voter to sign on the medical one anyway: https://www.unitedforcare.org/petition

Check though, done, and done. Thanks girl. Guess we'll just see what happens (if anything) now.

Under Florida law, it is a first degree misdemeanor, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.08, Florida Statutes, to knowingly sign more than one petition for an issue.

DOH! I did not know that. I'm glad I hadn't mailed anything yet. Man, FL has some weird laws. I could understand it being against the law to sign the same petition twice, but this here limits our rights.

Now I'm torn between that "no grow" medical garbage that I think will pass this time or the one Martha posted. Or does the OP "fock" someone named Martha? Either way, thanks.

Downloaded both, but apparently can only sign and send one.

You can sign one petition for each separate ballot question.

I looked those statutes up because the wording seems to indicate different than that. But neither of those 2 statutes even deals with signing of petitions. I don't remember where I copied and pasted that shit from, one of those fucked up petition sites I imagine, and I want to apologize. It is wrong.

The internet is so full of such strange shit. You need to be careful of everything. I can't even fathom at all why some asshole might have written that. Pisses me off, makes you not want to sign anything, creeps.... Actually, maybe that is their agenda. Back fired assholes.
