Cannabis Absorbency. Calling all experts!

Hi Everyone,

My first post on a Cannagraphic thanks for taking a look, I was wondering something. Is the Cannabis plant an absorbent plant? When I say absorbent, I mean does it soak up and retain pesticides to a certain degree if sprays are used? I've been looking on-line about the absorbency of the plant but could not find any info. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe if the pesticide is labeled a systemic this means it travels throughout the plant. That is what you should look at/research on whatever chem

Im not to sure there is a absorbant distinction from plant species to plant species , but i would image some absorb things more readily than others , like a woody plant with waxy leaves wouldnt absorb things as readily as a tender shoot soft leafed plant?

Thank you Critter I appreciate your response. I couldn't find any info anywhere and wanted to know if anyone had researched this before. I have this link which helps with knowing about Organic fruits and veggies...thick skinned fruits and veggies apparently are less absorbent? I still would imagine if the field they were grown in had been sprayed many times, they would absorb stuff throughout their lifecycle no matter what..but I'm just speculating. I think i will go with Organic since i am a medical user not a grower. Thanks again for your help...if anyone else wants to jump in feel free.
