So I'm thinking this isn't happening this year and then I get this email...

Yeah I heard about Jamaica,
Sucks they messed up the Amsterdam event.
All they had to do was apply for the license
So many months before.
HT thought they could just turn up, lol.

Still I heard that the coffeeshop cup will still go ahead. No expo though.

I think I will still make the yearly pilgrimage, mostly to see some friends.
Just wish it was a bit warmer, the Dam in Nov is frickin' cold!
Anyone else thinking about coming?

Damn you're up late mack!

Last year was good without the expo anyway, it was just nice having the entertainment at the melkweg, but long as there are friendly faces it doesn't really matter - company makes the night not just the venue. I'm up for it. Just want to know what dates are being penciled in so I can start looking at flights and accommodation.

When is the coffee shop cup cup happening chap?

I would guess it starts around the 20th, maybe 23rd onwards.
It's always around the 3rd week of November.

I'll check with Mr Haze. See what he says.
He will know for sure.

not wrong about the weather mate, you literally cant have a warm enough coat here in winter... millions of layers is the answer, basically you have to just wear all your clothes at once

Just imagine falling head first into a canal
In the middle of winter!

Happened to an IC head couple of years ago.

He said he had to run to his hotel immediately to shower and change
Clothes before he froze to death.

The moral of this story is don't walk out of the melkweg stoned to the bone
Looking at your phone instead of where your going.

It wasnt the cold that bothered me. It was the incessant rain a couple times.
Doesnt help when you are stoned to the max and leave your umbrella in the Wing Kee after chowing down.

The Jaimaican CUP has been known for quite some time.

People are still working to get entries, You gotta live in Jamaican to submit entries AFAIK, so its all about the co-labs this year it seems.
