Blueberry Muffin f3 - Day 64
Snapped last shots at 64, took them all at 68... Been busy so lacking pics on chop date, dry shots to come...
BM 1 - Beautiful purples and pinks throughout the calyx. More rosy/pink/red hues which I really enjoy, and is a bit unique. Smell is largely fuel which surprises me. Tingles the nostrils and very SD-like. Many smaller tops, density is good, yield is medium to medium low... Smaller pot so going to blame it on the root restrictions and see how see does on a second round/see if we can make her yield. My favorite of the two, and could probably come down around 8 weeks if needed. BM 3 - No color, aside from white/green. Very frosty (hence the white color). Density is lacking, but was on the far side and not in a prime spot for light penetration. Smell is a bit lighter, more of musty funk, and not quite as penetrating. She did throw a bit of a fit when root space was restricted and required some earlier/more often uppotting... Running her again, but probably won't make it past that. Wish I could have gotten a few more female phenos out of the muffin pack. Seems like some very interesting stuff in the line with the color/smell combo. Group Shots... |

OG Chem BX 1.1 - Day 64
Again, all pics day 64, taken down at 68. Definitely OGC 1 and 5 were done, 4 might have benefited from a little longer, but sometimes you gotta go... Definitely still on the finished enough side of things for me. Dry shots to come...
OGC 1 - Dense, golf balls. Frosty. A lot of the funk with a little bit of petrol in the background. Stinky, but I love that fuel smell. Flowers are tight, could call her down in 9 weeks probably, as she's a bit faster than her sisters. A bit lanky, with a larger stretch that is focused towards the back end (she sat for a bit weeks 1/2 and then really took off week 3 and on)... Really like this gal so far... OGC 4 - The taller of the similar sisters. 10+ weeker. A bit fluffier than the other two, and that is comparatively, as there isn't really much fluffy about any of these ladies. Smell is a little lighter than 1 and more on the funk/musk side than the fuel, which is a bit surprising just based on looks/structure. Looks to be the biggest yielder of the three as well... OGC 5 - Didn't know what to think. Definitely added some swell in the last week or two, and probably a little more frosty than her close sister (#4) but not quite at #1's level of whiteness... Looking like an easier trim than the other two. Smell, very similar to sister #4. Again not quite as powerful as #1 and doesn't have that fuel/petrol kick. Three very nice ladies, all with slight nuances, but have to say, the golf ball stinker is a nose ahead in the favorite category... All yield well, good density, frosty all around, really just comes to personal preference. All rock solid, no hermie tendencies whatsoever even in my environmental clusterfuck of a space with plenty of stresses (believe me I tried...) Everything getting another run, but I'd have to guess OGC 1 is sticking around for a bit, gonna hang with the DSD and ECSD x OG/CD... |

Blueberry Muffin F3 - Dry
We seem to have some of the same taste there FTL, bm1 and ogc 1... ogc 4 also showing some potential and the yielder out of the bunch, very easy trim as well. Smoke reports coming later after cure, just dry shots for now, let the pics do the talking...

Smoke Reports
Quick write ups here... Never had such a clearly defined favorite when they all look so nice... Somehow, the OG Chem BX 1.1 had a winner that smoked a few steps above the rest. In terms of high, potency, and the ability to cut through other varieties, OGC 1 was the clear winner. Quick run down of each below. Ran everything again, just because, along with some DSD, so I may pop back in from time to time with some more (hopefully) juicy shots...
OGC 1 - The densest. Just rock hard nugs, with that 'crown' structure, if that makes sense. Smell is very much funky, musty, stank. Hard to describe, but a little squeeze smells up the place. Structure is good, and yield is above average, with little larf due to density throughout. But the high... Sit and toke on either of the other phenos. It certainly gets you good and blasted. But then come in and take one toke off the OGC 1, and it cuts right through the rest. Sits in right behind your eyes, no creeper effect whatsoever, with onset immediately.. Truly something special with this lady and is going to give the ECSD x OG/CD a run for her money. Different aromas and tastes between the two, so I'm sure they should both find a home and stick around ![]() OGC 4 - The yielder. She put together some nice colas for the little test space. Not as dense, with some decent stink and very nice structure. Certainly looks the A grade, but could use a bit more punch in the aroma department, and high is more mellow and eases you in, as opposed to the #1 above. Second favorite from the pack... OGC 5 - Better calyx/leaf ratio than #4 above. She was a middle of the road girl, with structure and attributes right in between the other two. More crown shaped, but still with that stretch and longer nodes. A density level also right in between #4 and #1, coming in more dense than the former, and less dense than the latter... Smell is there, but not as pungent as either of the other two, and due to lower yield, she was an easy one to decide to let go. Nice plant, but not a keeper when the other two look like they do. BM 1 - The colored girl, definite hints of sour and fuel which surprised me. Potency is moderate and a nice relaxing buzz compared to the OGC. Tastes don't quite follow through, but a nice yield and a stocky little lady. Think there are better ones to find in the pack, but this girl is pretty nice. BM 3 - Frosty as hell, I'd call her color white. Smell is very much a sweet, fruity mash of smells and you know why she's called blueberry muffin. More potent than the former, but yield was pretty low comparatively. Could have been an environmental and placement issues on my end, so running again. High is very nice, and smells make me lean towards this girl, despite #1's significantly higher yield and pretty colors. Bottom line... Fire again from GRS. Certainly some phenos are better than others (just the basis of genetics and variability, and the fun in searching), but all are top notch and that A quality for sure. I always like to run full packs so I generally have 4-5 females to select from, however it didn't work out quite as planned with these beans. From what I see, the muffin line has some potential, I think my sample was too small however to demonstrate some of the better traits buried within. I'll probably have to grab another pack or two at some point. The OG Chem BX 1.1, nothing but solid ladies out of there. Not a male flower/nanner in sight and all are high up there on the stink, structure, and smokability scale. Props where props are due, always have a good time with your genes

Pop away BW, nothing but fire from GRS so far, I've run 4 of his lines now... Few shots, another round, under a 1k so a bit more space to spread their legs... Something like 50 days along here...
The trifecta... Blueberry Muffin all the way to the left. OG Chem is the two large and frosty colas center frame and to the right. And a DSD f2 branch at the bottom center of frame Left to right... OGC 4 - BM 3 (the white one) - and DSD f2 Mostly OGC 1... 3 colas from her. This girl is a beast. Awesome calyx/leaf. She stacks and is wonderfully dense. And knockout potent. BM 1 down on the bottom right More OGC 1 Glamor Shots - BM 1 bottom right - BM 3 in the background Sick of her yet?? I'm not... More OGC 1 with BM 3 in the background... BM3, stacking this time. A little color with colder temps. Still popped a full set of bananas early on, and no issues after the initial pluckage. These are the two that are sticking around from the packs for now. Good vibes and happy holidays all! |
