Blueberry Muffin F3 - Day 29
Quick one here... Overview shot...
Muffins, coming along nicely. I have to say, the short, stocky one is quickly becoming my favorite of the group. Short, sturdy, and stacking very nicely. Big, fat calyxes already, so excited to see her in a month or so... Early favorite, BM 1, the short and stocky girl And her, slightly stretchy, and a bit floppy sister. Did pluck a few male flowers on lower nodes, (half dozen or so, several fully formed male clusters, and a few single bananas at preflower locations), and she seems to have stopped spitting them out. Keeping an eye on her though and left one to see if it drops pollen... This space runs hot with occasional light leaks, so if something has the ability to turn, it likely will here due to environment and induced stress... |

OG Chem BX 1.1 - Day 29
All very uniform so far. OGC 1 took a bit longer to kick in the stretch, but after doing so, has outstretched both her sisters. OGC 4 and 5, very similar structure, and starting to frost. Bending and training quite a bit with these girls to keep them at a reasonable canopy level.
OGC 1 - Late stretcher OGC 4 OGC 5 - Probably the frostiest and quickest to stack at the moment, plenty of time left though |

Looking nice in there! Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see how these turn out for you.
Sorry about the delay in posts, they set me up to be a mod and I don't have much time to be by the computer these days. Here's a description of the OG Chem bx 1.1, don't think I shared this with you. OG Chemdog bx 1.1 F2 Genetics: (OG X Chemdog) X (5G’s Yellow F1 X (OG X Chemdog) Strain Type: Sativa/Indica hybrid Flowering Time: 8.5-10.5 weeks Outdoor Harvest: Oct 5-15 One of our most special moms is our OG Chemdog. It is extremely potent and had the highest THC tested in the 2011 and 2012 Emerald Cup as well as a 16th place finish in the 2012 Emerald Cup. Our OG Chem backcross lines are an attempt to represent our stellar plant while adding quality genes to the mix, making it easier to grow and more vigorous. In this bx, in cross we have bred in our very special 5G’s Yellow F1 mom. She was 14th place in the Emerald Cup in 2011 and one of my favorite plants I have ever seen or grown. Plants grow large and very dense flower with heavy resin production. The 5G’s Yellow added vigor and has some nice influence in the flavors, as well as the structure of the flowers. The best phenotypes of these are beyond encrusted with resinous trichomes. Two Emerald Cup finalists combined in this OG Chem bx ix1 representation. |

Blueberry Muffin F3 - Day 36
No problemo GRS, I'm sure you're quite busy given the time of year. Maybe a setting so posts don't require moderation/approval might help?
Certainly appreciate the kind words from all and always like a good strain description/lineage info... Another quick one, no stem rubs yet, so no real descriptions of smells... I'll let the pics do the talking for now... Group shots Mostly GRS, quite a balancing act in terms of feeds with 4 varieties in there, all different phenos. More on diet below... A shot of several mental floss just for fun... A bit of the claw on several, while the OGC in particular are just asking for more and stronger feeds. As close to a happy medium as I can get for now. Generally along the lines of 3 - 9 - 3 - 3 (ml/gal GH flora micro - bloom - calmag - sm90)... I'm a big fan of light feeds, no need to fight salt build up, and easier to flush out at the end for nice, and smooth burning meds... BM 3 - More Sativa Sister... Too many in the testing closet, so had to add some CFLs to supplement the HID and widen the footprint a bit, so she's not in a prime spot, but stacking none the less, and seems to like the mixed spectrum with some frost coming on fast lately... BM 1 - Shorter and Squat - Just cruisin' along and stacking, a bit lighter in color, due to the nute balancing act and eating fast, but seems to be loving life |

OG Chem BX 1.1 - Day 36
Larger stretch than the muffins, and a bit heavier feeds as well. Getting frosty fast, and very similar so far. Thinking it will be some hard choices in 5 weeks or so...
OGC 4 - Right at the front, so easier to get a shot showing structure. Again, 4/5 very similar in all ways... OGC 1, a little more lanky, and later stretch surge. Interested to see those flowers develop... OGC 5 - Lovely plant so far... OGC 1 - Whipped, and bent, and molested a bit, but she's coming along nice, and doesn't seem to mind the bondage/abuse. Cola is hidden behind some other flowers, so can't really get a good shot of those, secondary shoots pictured here... That's it for now... Good vibes all, see ya in a week

OG Chem BX 1.1 - Day 43
We're about at the point where I'm not going to get away with a single feed for all these girls... Both OGC and the muffins are liking a little extra shot of N, while some other varieties are showing some claw... Pics exaggerate the color a bit, but no doubt the OGC are fading early, so will bump their feeds individually this week...
Combination of hungry girls and high light intensity areas, they want to grow! I am guilty of tossing a little pollen, so a few beans here and there if you look carefully... Pulling out in the lead in terms of my personal favorites... OGC 1... Dense, dense, and what I can only describe as a frost bucket... She was a slow starter, but really starting to impress me, and she's got the stink... Next up, OGC 4... Out front and easy to snap a shot of. Stacking nicely, very similar to #5 below, hard to pick between the two... Wrapping it up with OGC 5, right in the middle getting hit with the most intense light, and eating faster than all the rest. Very similar to above. |
