I cant get a grow going - Female Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Man I got a big 0 of 4 on a pak of FS C-99.I've been trying to get a grow going for 2 months now and spent over 400 beebs with seeds that just wont germinate.Not just FS either Paradise acid and whiteberry along with mobey hash,expensive ass strains.See what happens when you stop for awhile lol?

try Bulk seeds if you're looking for something cheapest and fine,
great germination rates even in the cold climates.
oaseeds got em!
got high germination rates.

Find schwagg. Sort seeds. PRACTICE A BIT...just the germination stages.

Then go back to your seed packs.

are you doing it paper towel method or direct sow?

change supplier, change method...thats whats I'd do anyway...(double check rootzone temps)

Make sure to use some H2O2 with your water to soak.. it cleans any fungi that could cause bad germ or damping off.

Also use some the first few times you water to help sterilize the medium surface around seedling as it comes through.... also preventing damping off.

Thanks folks I've been growing inside for 13 years now so it isn't inexperience.I drop the seeds into a clear glass of water,I useds to use the paper towel method but if a seed is going to germinate,it will do so for sure in a cup of water.

h2o2 also kills any benies in the soil, like myco, ect.

super easy peasy way.

drop seeds in shot glass with tap h2o.
put above fridge cup board for 2-3 days until tap root shows about 1/4"
sow in medium of your choice with tap root down, and barely cover seed head.
water ever so lightly (I use light warrior and love it)
cover top of cup or pot with a clear plastic cup or baggie to create a humidity "dome" of sorts.
DONT use direct mh light. t12, t8 or the edge of a t5 will suffice
water really lightly when pot/cup is really light
remove baggie or cup 1-2x a day to let top of cup/pot air out a bit, then replace bag/cup.

this way has served me very well and almost a 100% germ rate.
