Advertised/Actual yields
At one time I used to get out what I put into it yield wise on my grows, ie good years bad years.
Now that I am coming at it all from a different direction ie HD as opposed to analogue lol and indoor instead of out, and frankie goes to hollywood is no longer in the charts. I notice all the expected yields alongside the plant descriptions. Is this yield quoted in wet or dry form? Long gone are the days of here ya go mate get those planted and see how ya get on. Slight minefield. Cheers in advance. |

Take it with a pinch of salt fella, to hit them numbers youd have to have the perfect conditions and near laboratory standards
Aim for a gpw its a suitable achievable target Some of us get more than that tho but its a mighty fine place to start |

Yield and flowering time are traditionally like the above poster said, taken with a grain of salt. As a rule of thumb I almost always leave them a week to ten days longer than what the seed package says. But I fancy myself a conisure and I want my flowers to develop as much as possible in the smell/taste department and those terpenes are built late in flowering.
Since 500 grams wet usually equates to a QP dry, I would say advertised gramage is dry weight estimate.

A gpw weighs the same eitherway ya nutter
Ie whats heavyer a kg of feathers or a kg of lead For example a 600w should produce 600 gr of DRY bud |

Yeah ok maybe i shouldda been clearer mate my bad
Smoked some of bodhis couger milk, im stuck inbetween a brainfart and bit of a dribble atm lol (good stuff) Tbh tho its all measured in dry weight tho mate Last time i asked i was told "its measured in dry weight because breeders cant say what your humidity is" Sounds plausable to me Then again ive had nigh on 700gr out of a dr120 with a 600w on super lumen |

depends how lazy you are come trim time..lol
wet vs dry is 80/20% it's deffo meant to be dry weight... edit: actually that was a bit off the cuff, I should put my point properly... ok so in Holland (where I live these days) weed is almost always sold at a minimum standard, I mean this in terms of how dry it is (it must be dried to 20% of the wet weight or "click snappy dry") and it must be trimmed very closely...now, where Im from in the Wales I regularly see WET as fk buds with ZERO trim... so you tell me, how much does a plant/crop weigh? I think it depends on your own standards...I could easily say my last crop weighed 4 or 5 more ounces than it actually did... I mean I could say that if I was well dodgy like
