Climate control
Due to my recent meeting with the arrival of bud rot, I was wondering which way you lads nd and any Lass's were running your tents. IE any climate control units de humidifiers etc on top of the general intake outtake extraction.
I have a good intake from Mother Nature "which I think may be my main problem" big oscillating fan all being sucked out with a scorpion filter. All has been fine through the grow til now. The amount of rain the last two weeks that has come down which is slowly starting to rise as the ground heats back up is where I have getting my moisture levels through the roof "or at least that is what I'm blaming" I can't help thinking that I should have cottoned on to it sooner and prevented it. Hopefully it won't happen again however, now that I have started to look into prevention the climate control units that I have found look great, but are they really necessary? Can I get away with just introducing a dehumidifier and extra fans? Cheers in advance for any responses/feedback

Cheapest option would be to ramp up extraction and air movement inside the tent.
Household dehumidifiers extract moisture from the air slowly so couple that with the speed your exraction is running it would be like taking a pee in the ocean imo.. Peace |
