LSD - When to harvest
Tomorrow will be 8 weeks to the day that I put LSD into flowering. The leaves on the buds have turned purple. I know that I should wait until most of the pistils turn brown, but the buds on the top still have a lot of white in them. Should I give them another week?
Any opinions will be welcomed... |

Yes,
I have this 60x mini microscope at Radio Shack for 9.95. It works really well, but the problem is that at 60x, it's really hard to get a good look, as my hands cant hold the mini microscope perfectly still... I'll take your advice and wait another week.. |

Cut a little sugar leaf off from one of the top buds(a real frosty one) and set in a white piece of paper, then look at it. You can pretty much just set the scope flat down on it and the adjust the focus.
I also just set it right on top of the bud and then adjust it. Tex |

Do what Tex says, thats the way i do it. I shake lile an old Buick when i look at my girls. Having it on a stable surface helps. (a lil off the point)>Also if its that far into flower roll a joint and rub it against those frosty buds and voila a resin laced splif.

Good tips for the scope
I have one of those and damn I shake,
I use my Dig. Camcorder and tape a 10X LOOP or a 30X loop to the lens, and move the camera around till I get a good close up the Trichomes. I use a tripod. then I up load to the Mac and view in comfort. I'll stick to this method for Harvest timing, because I can tell the color change in the trics so easily, but for quick looksies I'll try the paper and the Radio Shack scope.

Hey Texas Kid,
That's a great idea. I'll give that a try. Don't know why I didn't think of it... Doh! |

When does everyone harvest, when the trics are cloudy or amber?
