What RO filters do you use?

I'm looking for the most efficient one, with as little waste as possible

Hi im using a V2 pure50 reverse osmosis filter i bought from growell about 8 months ago, got it for 90 quid as the good fellow knocked a tenner off.

If you look online you can get a better filter for less than that ie similar to mine but with an added di filter for roughly 85 quid.

When i was using it through the winter it was painfully slow.
The performance of the filter will depend on your mains pressure and water temp.

Peace.

thanks buddy, think im going to go for a hydrologic one. quite a hefty price at £257 but it's meant to be much more efficient than the cheap ones, does yours have a pressure gauge on it? I've heard if your water pressure is low you need a pump with it too, which makes it more efficient and waste less.. thnks fo the info anyway buddy

Yes mate its got a pressure gauge, was gonna get a booster pump at the time but the only 1 i could get didnt have very good reviews so i left it.

I was hoping when i plumb it in in the next week or so i was hoping the warmer water temps would increase the output somewhat if not booster pump it is .

Peace.
