Yes, I hesitate to recommend something before I have even sampled it, but strictly from the growing/plant/aesthetics aspect, not having sampled it yet, I would say, GET SOME OF THESE BEANS. If I can find these two beautiful ladies in a 5 pack....
I'll get up some pics of harvest/trim, then dried flower shots, maybe a little hash as well and give an overall opinion and say which pheno I select as my keeper.... they are both so nice... in good time, stay tuned....

Has anyone had this happen much? The top cola, on the plant that seems to lean to the Amnesia side of the genetic, has twisted and bent down the main stem as it's so heavy and the stems of these plants are quite flexible. I've got her propped up as best I can, just trying to get her to ripen out for another week or so. If you look close, you notice a distinct elbow on the main stem, below the top cola, where I super cropped her during the initial stretch so she would fit within the height of my tent. I would have thought this would help hold up that heavy main cola, but these plants are REALLY packing on weight/density/resin in the last two weeks, you can just feel the water weight in these large buds as they ripen up.
Here's one picture where you can see the bent down cola: I've been scoping the glandular trichomes and they are about 95% cloudy, almost no ambers, only about 5% clear yet, so I will let her go another week. Have you ever grown a plant that could not hold her main bud up? Good thing? Bad thing? Opinions? Interestingly, the other pheno, that's more like Sour D, seems to have the flexible stems as well, however the plant also holds itself up a bit better and requires less string/staking. |

yep, had the same problem, her buds are just too heavy, if you let her grow big
Dry yield was about 160 gram from 1 plant, if I remember right. Happy harvesting!

On a side note, I looked at your multiple strains thread, very nice! I was curious about the Panama and how that smoked for you? What was the aroma/flavor? What a beautiful plant, I would love to grow a pure sativa like that. Did you get seeds from Ace? |

I found her. Finally harvested, dried and cured the herb from my Sour Amnesia. I had two distinct phenos, described and shown in posts above. The first one was Sour Amnesia #1 and when she grew looked more like Sour Diesel to me in structure and growth and smelled of sweet limes during flower. Sour Amnesia #2 looked more like the Holland Amnesia to me in structure and growth.
Interesting how it turned out, SA #2, looked a bit more like the Amnesia, but carried much more of the Sour D funk that tickles the nose. You just have to pull another long drag cuz you want to taste it again. But is more interesting overall in aroma and flavor to me, an improvement as it carries this wonderful sweet lime mixed in thats like wonderful citrus fruits. I love this plant, she is a keeper and she will grow some herb for me for years to come hopefully, already wondering about an interesting pollen donor... Mr. Nice Mango Haze perhaps? Have to run through my packs of seed on that next I think... First some harvest pictures of Sour Amnesia #1, the one I did not keep: She was nice, had this interesting sour grapes flavor, like a white wine almost. I gifted much of the herb to some friends, they actually LOVE it, so the toss away plant is of high quality as well, but let me be picky. She was quite potent with a more mellow, relaxing affect, not really what I was looking for in this mostly sativa plant. Although the smell was nice with this interesting wine sweetness, I did not prefer her flavor to the one I kept. Also she did not produce as much, although this is always last on my list. One thing I will mention, the last 2 or 3 days of flower she started throwing male flowers. I know some of you would panic about this, but knowing Sour D and crosses may have this tendency, I kept watch and did not panic. NONE of these threw any pollen and it was not a factor at all. Perhaps something to keep in mind, a few male flowers is not always a disaster in the making and sometimes, as in this case, not an issue at all. |

Now for my keeper! As I said, sweet limes with that sour d funk that zips up into your nose. She smells of citrus fruit and is absolutely coated with resin. Handling her you get very sticky fingers and the scissor hash from trimming was exceptional. Speaking of trim, she was a breeze to clip, very few leaves on these buds! I really like that part, probably the easiest trimming strain I have had. She "packs a wallop" as we say... I give her a solid 8-8.5 on the richter scale, she will rock your world in the best way, great uplifting, energetic euphoria! Basically a pure sativa affect to me. My wife, a lady of average tolerance perhaps, takes a single puff from a pipe or joint and tells me she feels amazing for the next couple of hours, she calls it "happy weed". Without any further delay, here she is:
Thanks to Hortilab!! Great cannabis, world class in my mind. Thanks for watching, peace and keep it green |

Failed to mention, I took the discarded pheno right at 80 days of flower and waited three more days for the final keeper pheno. I think I could have taken her right at 80 days or so as well, but I like to wait, keep checking and be patient with a new strain, see how she's going to ripen up
![]() At harvest most trichomes were cloudy when I scoped her and only a very small percentage were amber. |
