when does everyone start counting down flowering time....when the lights are first turned 12/12 or when the first flowers show?just curious on when everyone starts there flowering time estimates.

I usually start when I turn to 12/12 but you really have to keep checking the trichomes.

I also start counting when i switch to 12/12.

I personally and i think alot of growers do it this way is to count from the day you switched to 12/12.
Hence the saying " They are 43 days INTO flowering"

I hardly ever see people saying that there are 43 days away from harvest unless they have a time limit on the grow for some reason.

I go from day one of 12/12. But I dont really keep track of the time since the microscope tells me when to pick. But around the 5th week I add my supplimental flowering nutes.

i have read many times that indoor flowering begins with the 12/12 cycle. i generally let my ladies go a week or so longer than breeders suggested times.
