uthenger's 2015 outdoor grow guerilla-style

Uthenger was thinking to share with the fellow members his outdoor grow that now is in progress.
Last year his crop(s) was eaten by deers, just before harvest, he managed to taste only one plant - SnowStorm #2 from Dutch Passion - because this was an autoflower strain, so was ripe before the deer got hungry in the autumn.
Uthenger likes deer, especially when barbecued, he thinks that they taste good, but this year the deers become his worst enemies, because they like uthenger's weed too.:woohoo:
Uthenger was thinking, that this year he will take care mostly of autoflower strains, hoping that they will be ready before the deers can taste them. Also as a precaution he has chosen another site to grow (actually now has three locations this year and planning a fourth one).
The first location is the main one, not to far from the second one, on the same forest clearing where the vegetation is luxurious, with very good soil and lots of ticks, yes, deer-ticks.
Also there are many deers in the area, so he found a place that is
surrounded totally by shrubs, and also he is using fishing lines connected to the near by shrubs, so if a deer touches the line the shrub will be "moving".
He has chosen seeds from Nirvana, and on the site now he has two Northern Lights Auto and seven (now only six) freebie seeds from Nirvana, those are regular seeds and the strain is not known. Also on the second spot he has only one Jock Horror Auto, the first seedling that he transplanted there (on 1st of June).
Uthenger is thinking that every 3-4-5-6-7 days he will update the progress of the guerilla grow but also thinks that he will share a few pictures from the JH as for today. All the seeds were sprouted indoor, then when they were just a seedling were transported to the site. The Jock Horror was transported on 1st of June, the rest on 12 June as you will see (also the June 12 pictures are not very good, he was stressed and made them in hurry).
So here we go!

looking good. Did the deer eat uthengers plants when they were in bud last year? I didn't think deer eat buds unless starving. How was the bud from snowstorm #2?
I was going to order it this year but couldn't get it though my store.
Best of luck this year and may all your buds be huge.
cheers GG

Northern Lights as for today

Northern Lights as for today

Uthenger today has tested the JH#1, because I'm afraid that he is only on schwag what he had till today,
He was so happy, that gave me these photos about the NL1 and NL2 as for 4 July:

Uthenger also thinks, that these are two different phenotypes, NL1 being more like a dancing queen and NL2 could be compared with a "bushy mustache", the word that he has used.
Also he is afraid, that we will run out of the space for uploading photos, being a "newbie", so hopefully after 6 days or 50 comments...

@gorilla ganja
Uthenger says, that the last year crop was eaten by deer (having the proof too) only 6 days from harvest time, they were almost finished, with orange hairs and 10% amber trichoms on last visit.
I think that uthenger liked the smoke from the last year snowstorm, she gained 70 g (apx 2oz) on cured bud, but I know that he smoked some popcorn before finishing the cure and weighting the harvest. About the smoke, was trippy and somewhat "paranoid or panasonic?" as he said, and after 2 joints he could not resist and fall asleep, and that aspect did not gain uthenger's respect.

pellets for slug control

pellets for slug control

Hi, sorry what are those blue balls?

Those are metaldehyde pellets for slug control.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaldehyde
Acetaldehyde, the breack down metabolite is the same substance that you have in green (not riped) fruits like apple, plum and also supposed to be the substance that makes the hangover after a night with too much alcohol. Also the half life time is about 1 week, will quickly dissapear from the environment.

Thank you, i didn't know the use of acetaldehyde but this could influence the weed taste or plants growing? Because metaldehyde is a poisonous chemical used as a pesticide (slugs).

Uthenger is certain that will not have any effect on taste or grow, especially that is abundant in nature's plants, and does not reach a high concentration under the soil surface, it's beak down by soil organisms too. Also those pellets contain only 4% of the active substance and are tiny.

On June 18 uthenger has planted another five regular freebie seed (fr3, fr4_5, fr6 and fr7) seedlings with gender unknown. Also has documented the development of the other seedlings planted on 12 June and also the Jock Horror auto on the other spot near by.

On July 4 he visited again the garden, freebie #3 was lost, possibly attacked by a snail (he found one death snail near by), the metaldehyde pellets that he has used for slug/snail/gastropod control were washed away by the rain.

uthengers plants are starting to grow nicely. Gorilla ganja would have started those plants earlier ( by June 1 ) but what the hell does he know.
keep up the good work and try not smoke it all before it's ready
Peace GG
