Oh man that looks good. I can smell it from here. I hear she's a stinker...in a good way. This is one of the ones I wish I ran. I went with an afghani from cannacopia seeds instead just to try out other breeders ( I have 12 different Chimera strains running). I think that come fall I will run these. I should have gone with my gut...I must say though, I have not been disappointed with anything from his new catalog. I do need a night time strain and I think this may be one the better ones for sleep. Enjoy your harvest.

Jahaze,

This particular plant is lacking the stink I'm hoping for. She inherited healthy dose of the sweet pineapple/citrus from her daddy. Time will tell as I'm still planning another 4 weeks under the bloom light. Hopefully the stink is yet to come.

Structure wise I'm quite happy.

-Internode spacing is just about perfect in my opinion. 3" or so between nodes.
-Stems are a little weaker than id like but not unmanageable.
-Stretches to about double height to the end of week 4
-Side branches are vigorous - canopy is much more even than a Christmas tree shape.

I've been pretty happy with chimera's jack lineup. Looking forward to seeing what I can find in the SS lineup and hopefully soon in the Blockhead lineup.

Tehee!

trimmed my one girl up last night. she's chunky and super frosty! yield is enough that I will be chopping 2/3 currently flowering plants down as I wont have need for that much finished product.

She's a lot more "up" than I was hoping for. The aroma is unmistakably Jack-y with sweet tropical fruit/citrus overtones. There's a very different aroma hidden behind the jack that's in the Piney/skunky/cheesey neighbourhood. I cant put my finger on it yet.

I unfortunately only got 1 female from the 5 seeds I sprouted so I cant speak to any other phenotypes. I've since started sprouting 10 seeds of any given varietal to ensure I get a peek at some of the different phenos.

Preliminary tests were unsuccessful for my patient (Migraine sufferer). I however always get her to retest throughout a 3 month cure. Its only then I will decide whether to dispose of the mom.

Ill try to snap a couple pics over the weekend.

I wish I would have gotten a pic of my keeper Jack Pine that I took down last night. She smells like pine trees on a misty morning. There is no fruit in this gal at all :-)

Krausen, if it's pine you seek you will find it for sure in these seeds if you plant a few more. That hidden aroma will jump out from behind the curtain and show itself in all of its glory! I was kinda hoping for a Pineapple pine but four were straight pine, and the fifth was musty earth. I smoke 2+ grams a day for 20 or so years and I can't smoke this during the day. I find myself taking four hour naps, lol.

Thanks for the report studenteacher. I'll be germinating some more in search of the pine. I'm still hopeful the pine with come through with a cure. Four hour daytime naps sounds about perfect to me!

Here is a close up of my keeper. Please excuse the tip burn, I fed double strength by mistake about four weeks back. Mixed up a 55gal drum and then mixed it again.

Yours kinda looks piney in structure so you aren't far off. I forgot about one I had that had some nice fruit aroma to compliment the pine, though it was in the background. She was shorter and more bushy than the rest. All but the earthy one were great for sleep and relieving muscle spasms in my back. The earthy one was one of the few throwbacks of the bunch. My friends and I are very happy to medicate with something that isn't bubba or another fat leaf Afghan kush. Just got boring over the years. This is way different buzz but still extremely physical and keeps me sleeping. Ogs and Sensi Star and other high potency types just pass me out and I'm awake two hours later. Not much out there that works perfectly for me really. This one comes close. After dinner time anyways ;-)
