frosted headband pheno's

Ive been wanting to score a headband cut for a few years now
relentless FHB looks like a good plan B since i missed the drops.

I wanted to score it so bad it hurts lol.
someone noticed my pain and gifted me 4 seeds...
with the condition if i get the extra stinky pheno I'd share.
all 4 are up in solo cups atm.
to those that have grown it out, how many pheno's is FHB throwing out? do they have distinct or subtler features.
anyone get the super stanker pheno yet?

also anyone run these topped?

I had one pheno that smelled of earth and body oder mixed with hash. But not super stinky. Mostly just smelled like fresh thc.
I've got 3 new phenos going now. So far they're all really similar to the 1st pheno. Like they're almost all the same? They seem carry some more sativa leaning traits. Like big spear shaped colas, instead of smaller round balls. The frost doesn't extend out to the fan leaves like many other strains I've grown. This was not an indication of potency. 1st pheno was among the most potent I've had. They've all had pretty dark leaves also.
It's still a little early for judgement for my next 3,but so far, none are super stinky. I'm only just now at 5 weeks, and they'll go at least 10.

alrighty... out of the party cups and into 1-gallon bags.
I enjoy this phase of veg best!
if conditions r firing n all 8 cylinders they explode with growth
i'll do another pic or 2 when they go into 5gallon pots and are ready for bloom

I usually let plants on the seed run go un-topped to get an idea of the plants basic structure.
but I'm wondering how these FHBs do topped?

anyone run em topped yet?

the discoloration you see on the lower leaves
is from watering/fertz

Even if you top them you will still get full colas as if they were non topped plants. Just more colas. Buds on phenos I ran will have that airy haze look at first but as they mature will get dense. Plus topping will help with the stretch. They love intense lighting and temps on the warmer side or not too cold. Make sure air circulation is good to prevent bud rot. In the phenos i had the one with the spear shape buds were more Hashy in smell. The ones that were more rounded shape seems to take on the fuel skunky funk associated with Head Band IME. I only ran 4 so this may be different for others.

I topped all 3 of the ones I have going, and they all had no problem branching out. Even with the topping, they still stretched quite a bit.
Mine also have all filled in the way gsizz described. At first they look a little airy, but they start swelling and getting dense. I haven't come across the more indica leaning pheno yet.

nearly all plants Ive grown do very well topped,
only a couple haven't ime but it's good to know if they don't.

as far as smell these had a distinct stank when they were old enuff to handle a good stem rubbed,
all were on the sour side
fingerz Xd to get that skunky fuely HB dominant pheno

these frosty HBs are stretching they're roots out in a fresh batch
of soil and are enjoying the lazy life of veg,
taking in the rays....
sipping on NPK cocktails in the tropical Co2 atmosphere of the deep south
