Those crosses sound wonderful. Lets hope the offspring end up with lots of intense purple hues. You may even find more anise in the Durban offspring than the Durban themselves. The Early Durbans I harvested recently smell strongly of anise. More so than the original Durbans.

Only 6 plants outside huh? Ill be happy to see even one DP outdoors. how many do you get indoors there? Hope its enough to offset the outdoor restrictions.
It depends on the lot size (acreage), I believe I will be limited to 12 in veg and 6 in bloom since I am under 5 acres.

PNG

Ive got something new in the garden to share with you all. I was lucky enough to be gifted some PNG(Papua New Guinea) . A big thanks goes out to that person who made it happen.

These are long flowering sativas that I believe can take up to 20 weeks or so. Good thing Ive got lots of practice with the GN Thai.

We'll give them a few weeks veg, then Ill flower them out, and take some cuttings from each plant shortly after flowering them.

Really glad to see these getting spread around. This is a variety that absolutely deserves preservation and dissemination. I'm sure lots of us would love to have access to it, and the more people who make more seed the better all of our chances.

I'm really excited to see these grow out!

Dj, Im glad to do my part and help preserve this line. Ive got 40 more PNG seeds to work through as well. Ill be looking for standout plants to create the next generation. Perhaps the person who got them to me will be able to make them more widely available in the future. Lets hope!

@Realhash, Your plant numbers sadden me :(. Only 18 plants to spend time with..but at least the law is on your side.

Oh this is going to be good. I am also very interested in the PNG. Seen a few pics and looks like a great strain. I've heard rumors of semi-auto traits in some phenos.
Will be lurking in the shadows watching these babies grow up in your more than capable hands Dave.

Peace GG

Im glad to have you following along as we embark on a journey through these plants lives. Should be fun for all. Speaking of auto traits, I also have a small number of seeds of PNG that carry the auto trait. Its a separate line the gift giver provided me. They will at some point in the future make an appearance, but it'll be a good while before we get to them.

Yeah I know- I think I'll have to partner up with someone with a 5+ acre parcel to get my licensing. My goal is to set up a small seed company and focus on local sales. It would be nice to get the go ahead from the local government.

Thanks for the good vibes Buddah. I appreciate it! My garden will always be mostly full of sativas or sativa hybrids till the bitter end. You'd have a hard time getting me to grow much else .

Thanks for following along and I hope you'll enjoy the future PNG updates.

I hope you can get that license, and expand your garden. I wish you the best on your endeavors. May they be fruitful.
