Growing small plants from seed?
At some point many years ago I read that if plants grown from seed are not sufficiently vegged they have a tendency to Hermy. The recommendation was two month minimum from seed cracking. I grew Serious seeds Ak-47 back in 2001, vegged two weeks, and most of the pack hermed out pretty bad. Since then I've vegged for 6-8 weeks roughly, and have had very little Hermy issues. I see people growing tiny plants from seed on this site. Did I just have bad luck ? Can I grow small tester plants of Chimera seed lines without issues? Like 9 or 16 per kW? If so I'll surely run a lot more seeds. Then I can really do some searching. Thanks again-

I have grown 12/12 from seed quite a few strains including Rez SDIBL which was said to be hermie prone, all without issue.

Thanks very much. I don't know where I read that. Lots of times Ive grown the seed plants large in veg, then clone, sex, and toss. It could have been a light leak with the AK maybe but they were very healthy and vigorous.. I topped them and many were cute little bushes like basketball size. That was 15 years ago almost, and I've been growing mostly clones for the past ten years plus, and just getting back to seed popping.
