I ordered some Rez Chem IBL , cheesedog and mosca Chem#4xOtm and got SSSDH rez as freebies.

So far The SSSDH are cracking but slowly, the Chem have 6 or 7 healthy the cheesdog have 6 or 7 as well. But the Mosca Chem#4x OTM they cracked but have really unhealthy tips and look like they are not going to give tails at all.

Anyone else Lot#1011 Mosca have what appear to be bad seeds ?

hi guys, same problem here... i've got c99 bx and c99 f1 and germination rate and vitality are very bad
they're germinating for 2 days now and in f1 version only 2 seeds cracked, in bx version 8 cracked, but only 3 grow roots and all of them are so slow... it looks like this summer selection ends quickly

Its been over a week and even tried put them in jiffy pellets since the paper towel method wasnt working and not one has sprouted.

Im kinda bewildered by this.

sorry i forgot to mention i was talkin about a pack of Chem#4 x OTM.
i've seen that cross along with all the line of Mosca has dropped on another site, i wonder if those are part of same lot we see on sbay.

about REZ you should know those seeds are really old, so its normal to expect lower germ rates, but they are offered at half price so its your choice.

so after next 2 days it looks better than i expected, i've got 4 healthy growing c99 f1 and 3 unhealhy and slow growing, in c99 bx it's hard to say, because 5 cracked seeds were transpanted to soil yesteday (but they didn't look good, i used sterile soil so i hope that some od them can survive) and from 5 remaining seeds only one grows and looks relatively good

When playing with any seed line that has been around for a while and isnt in reproduction, there are a few things you can do try turns the odds in your favour. Age hardens the wax coating on seeds, which make it difficult for the water to soak into the seed and kick start germination. Using sand paper to scuff up the outside of the seeds and make it easier for the moisture to penetrate is a good place to start.

Though be patient with the seeds you put down. There are gems in those genetics, and the amount of times I have seen seeds I have given up on sprout on my coco compost pile would suprise you, the heat generated from the decomposing mass seems to spur them on.

I fucking love Mosca's gear, C99 bx1 is my favorite strain of all time.

As i digress, I just cracked some Mach Fly i ordered back in 2010 or 2011, stored at room temp in a small safe until last month, dumb i know.. I popped 3 of the Mach Fly and a bunch of other strains, probably 40 other seeds that were stored the same way and Mosca's are the first to come up, I got 3/3 on them and are the only ones i got 100% on. Then again i've read about some people experiencing bad germ rates on the chem 4, and old time crosses.

Try soaking your seeds in a shot glass of h2o2 and water for 12-24 hours. After soaking, grab some tweezers and very gently crack the seams of the shells, then the paper towel method. Cracking the shells has worked wonders for me; old seed stock sometimes doesn't have the strength to do it alone so they need some assistance!


Just got my order of 4 packs of C99 bx1 in the mail this morning, we'll see how those germ in a few months. There's only a few packs left on the internet, you guys better get them before they disappear forever!

I planted some Blue Iguana recently, straight in the dirt, seeds that I got when they were released. No germ problems here. Germ issues can be for many reasons, seed storage can be the biggest problem, they won't last long under poor conditions.
