Lapis Mountain Indica

SAM_0559.jpg

These are Lapis Indica at 8 weeks flower. They are stunted from nutrient lockout but I think they have the structure of their genetics aside from being tiny.

I am wondering if anyone can tell if these are the Deep Chunk phenos or the Lapis phenos or a mix.

There are still lots of white pistils and really no amber trichs so I am leaving these another week but I can see lots of cloudy trichs already under the 60x scope.

I used Roots Organics soil this time and last time used FFOF and got stunted plants again. I ph my water with lemon juice which was really old ( expired by a year or so) but do not think that was it. I use ewc and Rainbow Bloom Mix for flower so that does not seem to factor in. The lockout started in veg and looked to continue thru flower or early flower. I vegged just using the soil with a little ewc and water after adjusting ph to 6 or so. Water is 8 ph out of the tap. I let it sit out for a few days to cook off the chlorine.

Anyway about the type of genetics that are showing here, there is some purple showing on the buds if that helps.

The two up front look like deep chunk phenos for sure very frosty and no branching dc phenos will be done 7-8 weeks the lapis phenos will be done 8-9 weeks yours may take longer to mature do to the stress from nute lockout, I like to pull mine when the hairs are 100% orange but I like to be glued to the couch

This one of the buds. I chopped at 68 days. Almost no amber trichs at all but feel the buds are done enough.

I took a small hit off one of the lower popcorn buds. Was not expecting much but got a good buzz off it. So this stuff has some power to it, no idea on tolerance yet.

Feel of high is very indica, buzz was immediate after toking. No creeper, I am as high now a half hour after smoking as I was half a minute after toking. Wanted a drink of soda right after toking so some cottonmouth I guess?

Sedate, no energy, chill out stuff for sure. I am high now and was doing stuff right after toking so I mean you can do stuff but might not feel like it?

Harvested 29 f2 seeds off 2 plants with one plant having big seeds and the other smaller seeds.

This is first high off of 1 plant and I am still high so no idea how this stuff fits into the variety of indicas I have already but wanted to share first impressions.

I have had a few people smoke this and they are all impressed. It is considered quite strong or very strong by them in general. I said to the one guy, well OG Kush is better though right? He did not seem to think so.

He got a little freaked out right after toking hehe. Later was asking if I had any more to spare.

I did a lot of reading on this strain and on Deep Chunk and in general it was considered of good potency but not too great. I read a couple where they thought the DP was a little weak.

I thought the stone off this was 8 to 9 for potency so that is strong but is this considered 'killer' smoke by any?

I grew this, Lapis pheno I believe. Wish I'd took a cutting as I like this stuff. 63 days flower hits the spot for me.

Careful with that spliff Eugine, it causes condensation.

I popped a pack of these just recently. I lost kost of them to a fugus gnat issue, unfortunately, so i ordered 2 more packs from what i assume is the last source of these seeds available.

I ended up with 2 females and 1 male. The male has been saved and the females just hit flower one week ago. Already 3 ft tall, they will be large.

Im very excited for this one. I plan to use the male to hit some Deep Chunk IBLs females. Add just a hint of diversity and make a large batch of DC seeds..

Does anyone know of a source for these seeds that still exists? Cannacopia moved on from their Deep Chunk crosses.. I think they are doing c99 crosses now. Which is a bummer. Those DC crosses were fucking amazing.

NPK seeds out of Italy supposedly has some. I got a pack from them last year. I tried ordering 2 more packs but the damn things aren't showing up. They supposedly sent some out on Feb 9th but they haven't showed and I'm doubting they will.

ANY other sources for these seeds? I'm happy to over pay. These were very low cost when they were readily available, I am happy to pay well above the list price.
