Granddaddy Purple

Just wanted to ask others what their experiences where when growing out GDP. Don't see to many grows of her. I noticed GDP finally dropped more Granddaddy purple seeds so I grabbed 2 packs. They where sold out on all 6 sites I went to for the past year so I had to get them. I did see some old threads about GDP didn't know if the genetics change any. I plan on dropping atleast 4-6 beans, looking for a nice straight purple cut . I know GDP just dropped a bunch of new gear and people are currently growing them out instead but any information would be great, thanks.

Thanks for the info. Do you mind giving more in depth information about your 2 phenos. How many seeds did you drop in order to get them 2 phenos or was it only 2 seeds? How was the smoke, taste and effect of your phenos? How much did she stretch during veg and during flowering? Where your phenos blue or purple any or all the way? How long did they run for until harvest? Is she weak and burns easily or can she take a lot of nutrients? The more information I can obtain the better, thanks.

im sure his phenos will be different then yours. sorry to break the bad news to ya. but
DVG is calling ken a fraud, just like kens partner before him.
this is his quote on rui
"AND TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR....
KEN HAS Z E R O affiliation with me or my new name, company, strains, anything. He's a con artist and like many people he's fooled, I fell for the innocent crippled guy routine.
DVG is ran solely by me, PNW_grown to some of you, and I do it all out of the freedom state of Washington."

You didn't even post a link to this "thread". Plus I know for a fact GDP is a legit business. They are at most of the Cups... like the one in Denver and such. I have heard crap "rumors" about others breeders as well and it turned out to be the people growing it not the breeder because mine turned out beautiful. Kinda how like everyone says Green House Seeds has a shit Chemdog but the 4 I have done where all fire. Just like how people say there isn't a good White widow in fem but G13 seeds has a amazing White widow it's just 95% of people suck at growing lol.

I will definitely post all updates with pictures and see if these "rumors" are true about these GDP beans. I'll put that to the test!

I just checked out DVG. He looks like he is breeding with some of kens gear?
DVG seeds are 85$ a pack.
I was hoping to find Purple dream.I ran one a while ago and it was straight fire.
I see the PD for sale after a year + of nothing.I heard a breeder walked away with all Kens cuts. That does not make it true. But I'm leery of any GDP purchases.

Both my GDP phenos went purple,I don't feed my plants in favour of a TLO kind of approach so I cannot comment on their appetite really. They both exhibited around a 1x stretch ie double the height at end of bloom than at onset of bloom. One had a more dense bud structure and finished a week earlier, both had slightly different perfumey type flavours and were extremely loud.I tried sharing a bud at a protest and police 30 feet away were sniffing the air and looking round.I found both keepers in a 5 pack which contained 4 seeds.
I have also grown candyland and kens kush and found keeper plants, all in 5 packs, and bought backup packs of kens kush and candyland.Unfortunately I just lost the candyland and both GDP mums in a bust in march.
