i've been smoking C-99 for a few months now and often find myself cleaning the house or doing other chores. it's not like it forces you to get up and do stuff, but it certainly isn't stopping me.

I been growing and searching for the same thing "energy-weed". I've taken to getting different varieties of sativas and sativa hybrids to try and find that perfect one.

The Durban Poison put me to sleep with a mediocre high.

Harley Girl (trainwreck x girl scout cookies) was another let down and wasn't a very good high with short duration and a headache at the end.

Pandoras Box wasn't any better than Harley Girl

Green Crack was another was another waste of time with lots of couch lock and nothing energetic to it at all, next morning got up with a pot-hangover.

Jack Herer was almost there and might be right if grown differently or with organics instead of ferts and bloomers, a generous high that left you mentally capable with some drive to it. But by smoking it all day I was left with just a touch of a headache and a bit of hangover the next morning. It could be the way it was grown, I'd like to get some seeds and try this for myself.

Skunk #1 was also a good all day smoke but again I think I could grow a better medicine than what I got at the dispensary which was full of seed (SK1 x SK1) so I'll give it a try.

What I've been using that has worked fairly well is some Lionheart bagseed that I've been growing. One outdoor plant supplied 12 quarts of dried and cured bud, while not as energetic as I would like it doesn't have couch lock, no paranoia, no cottonmouth, a quality high that will still allow one to work with power tools and not lose limbs.

I've grown/and grow Ace's Zamaldelica and while it is energetic (and viagra-like at times) it isn't a busy work type of weed, you can't function normally, you just absorb all the fresh new sensations for hours. It is more like vacation/weekend weed for dropping your anxieties and stress and letting your mind recreate... :)

I've also started some Purple Power, Strawberry Cough and Alaskan Thunder but I haven't gotten them to the finish line yet.

Hope this helps!

So zameldeca gives you an erection? 'Please contact your physician if you experience a weed boner lasting for more than four hours'

I've been experimenting with different strains when I go hiking. So far, Durban Poison has been the most motivating and least of a drag. Doesn't slow my mind down and it speeds up my body.

Kind of a side note, I have 3 "Durban Poison" offerings from different legal Washington State growers, and they're distinctly different. One of them is a favorite, the other two not so much. One lab reports an unusual amount of THCV in "Durban Poison", and it's my theory that this cannabinoid has a lot to do with the odd "mixed up but not so high" effects I get, and different growing conditions and prep account for big differences in actual THCV content. But that's just idle guessing. I guess the real moral of the story is that there's more to weed than picking the right thing from a seed catalogue, and that makes it hard to sort out in a discussion like this. The effects I require might classify for you as "slow my mind down", and the effects I detest might serve your objectives pretty well - but we can't really say for sure you had the kind of Durban Poison I hated, you might have had the one I liked.

Have you tried the Tumblweed Farms Durban Poison in Washington? That's what I tried and it was great. Not super strong but great effects.
Its seemed close to the Dutch Passion Durban Poison that I have grown.

Mr. Nice "The Cure" is supposed to enhance sex drive. Cannabiogen "Peyote Purple" is supposed to be good for the ladies. For sex pot, I think you're best searching through the sativa hybrids.

O.Haze x Skunk from Sam the Skunkman. I had a buddy that every time he would sit down a button in his ass would get activated and instantly he would go to sleep. Once we started smoking the O.Haze x Skunk that button got bypassed. I never saw him so active as when we would smoke this haze hybrid. Even he acknowledged it got his ass in gear. I have no other recommendations than that.

No, thanks for the tip! I actually went to the store with the intention to get that, but they had two, and the Life Gardens was on sale, so I went for that instead - and that's the one I really liked. Plenty stimulating, but sane and with a nice buzz. Someone else reviewed CannaSol's and loved it, where that was my least favorite, really have no use for it - but his was a different harvest date, a month before mine. I like TumbleWeeds, but have only one thing from them and honestly wasn't crazy about that either, "Thai", insistently buzzy stuff that burns me out, but I'm sure it's perfect for someone with a more robust constitution or something. I'll keep an eye out for their Durban Poison.

Also may need more research in terms of different kinds of activities. I'm often off on a longish walk, but arguably looking for a fairly passive or meditative mental frame of mind that might not have much to do with what the OP is up to.

I think you might like a pure sativa. Take a look at the "revival of the ultimate sativas" thread and read some of the descriptions:
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=36181
It's good to know that the genetics of the incredibly good sativas that were around in the 70's are alive and well. Hell, get some mexican bag weed (the cheap stuff) and grow some yourself from the seeds. You will be pleasantly surprised at how good it can be when properly dried and cured.

I recently did a pack of triangle x gsc and I found myself antsy in the pantsy after smoking. The dabs got me all wound up. Usually use them for night night meds and that batch turned into a morning dab to get the day going. Tastes ranged from kush, to forum cut, to a berry diesel. If I didn't like to be stoned out of my mind instead of uppy and clear headed I'd of grown them again.

My friend had a cut of Super Silver Haze back in the day that I could smoke all day and not get lazy... Last I had some smoke I ended up stashing most of it in my golf bag because it was so good for concentration and was perfect for a game of golf or similar activity.
