Deibles and Terpenes: Parallels to vaped concentrates?

Just curious if anyone has noticed how terpenes affect edibles. Obviously little terps will be left after cooking, but does Strain z give similar effects compared to strain Q whether smoked or eaten?

Anyone tried eating lemons or mangoes along with weed cookies?

Any observations from the collective brain trust here?

Probably would have to add them back in unless you were infusing acidic cannabinoids. Maybe the heavier ones stick around after decarb.

Hopefully the community wouldn't be up in arms about adding food grade terpenes from other plants since it is a food application not vape. Thanks Regis, interesting article. I think once the community realizes they can tailor their experience as they wish depending on what terpenes are added back the push back will fade.
