Rough Diamond's Invite Only Auction for the GN Fund:

A rare one time chance at obtaining this breeding stock... and help GN at the same time.

Tabitha v1.1
Tropical Landrace NLD x (Tropical Landrace NLD x Sativa Dominant Hybrid)
2x - 20 seed packs

A version 1... generation 1 R&D test cross, seeds of which were harvested in January 2015, currently in the discovery phase of research and development.

Made using using two different un-realated tropical NLD lines from opposite sides of the globe. Both are completely unworked lines, seeds of which came directly from their land of origin (never domestically reproduced)... crossed with a world famous hybrid that is known for it's connoisseur qualities of the finished product... making Tabitha 3/4 unworked tropical landrace NLD and 1/4 modern sativa dominant hybrid. And pure NLD "sativa" in expression.

The Tabitha v1.1 is a rare and unique opportunity for those interested in truely connoisseur NLD cultivars that are unworked which provide maximum genetic potential for the brave breeder who dares to cultivate this variety in order to shape the expressions into unique creations of their own desires... so far, in this fisrt generation, smells are predominant in sickly sweet floral hand lotion, sweet musty bubblegum haze with hints of cocoa and umami.

But the chance to cultivate this variety does not come without it's costs...

High Risk, High Reward Warning-

the risks;
1) Genetic Intersex, the maternal line is notoriously intersex to a high degree... though I did select an intersex free phenotype as the maternal progenitor... 50% of the offspring in the discovery grow showed intersex... 7/9 males showed what looked to be genetic intersex and 1/8 females showed a few early flower staminate flowers at the nodular preflower sites as a reaction to the rapid reduction in photoperiod (12/12 flip) similar to Chemdog plants.

2) Hyper Vigor, these plants explode in growth and reach for the sky when flipped, some phenotypes will continue to stretch well into the 7th week of flowering and beyond. In the current discovery grow, in order to limit the height, I topped all the plants between the 4th and 5th node then imediately flipped the photoperiod to force flowering combined with root binding for the first 6 1/2 weeks of flowering and the plants range in height from 27 - 42 inches above the soil line... and with some phenos still stretching. If untopped, given any kind of veg time or any kind of root space Watch the F#$! out!

3) Long Flowering Period,the maternal tropical NLD variety can take as long as 6 months to mature once the buds appear on the plant... the fast Tabitha phenotypes look three weeks along at six weeks and the Wild Type phenos are just now preflowering at almost 7 weeks (5 of which, under 11/13) so six months of indoor flowering is a real possibility for these pheno's.

4) Phenotypic and Genotypic Variability, due to the un-worked nature of the landrace progenitors... the same genetic factors that will allow the keen breeder to differentiate the population and move more toward higher QTL loads for the individual breeder's desired and unique expressions, will also cause some degree of phenotypic instability when working the line forward... so be aware that it's possible, not all the phenotypes will be desirable and 6 months flowering is a long time to find that out... only take this project on if you are up for a challenge and want the benefits of conquering that challenge... paid in sticky sweet unique NLD "sativa" buds.

The Rewards;
I am not going to "sale" (as in hype or promote as this or that) this to anybody, either you get it and see it's value or you don't... what I will say is this...

-Outcrossing, beyond culitivating and inbreeding I do believe this line holds great potential for outcrossing to and re-invigorating the many watered down "sativa" hybrid cuts that go around by adding some authentic NLD traits back into the mix. Just be sure to you do your due diligence in ensuring you are not breeding with the intersex males... and passing those traits for intersex and environmental sensitivty to your new varieties.

(Tabitha v1.1) Tall phenotype @ 45 days flowering...

(Tabitha v1.1) Short Phenotype @ 45 days flowering...

(Tabitha v1.1) Wild Type plant #3, Structure, flower and leaf detail @ 42 days flowering...

Early flower development @ 6 weeks! LOL...

The leaves are heavily dually serrated and I found this triple serration pattern...

If you want more info and details/pics check out my Colors of Infinity link in my signature, or check our my Tabitha album.

I hope you enjoy, and some brave souls take a chance... possibly of a lifetime (at least I hope so for my projects using her)

I'm not the most skilled with graphic work but thought I'd drop off my ideas for anyone to improve upon (if Infinite likes either concept).

I am surprised there hasn't been more entries - good luck with your logo hunt, Infinite....

Thanks, Boyd. I wish I had the graphic skills to match my ideas. Simple things, such as curving a font, I don't even know how to do... LoL... Just trying to spark an interest and stir up some more entries. Your black and white is my favorite so far. Nice work on that one (others are all top notch as well)...

use inkscape, and like a half ounce. free, vector based, it's got a real "quirky" intro/manual.. it's a big image file where you scroll down and manipulate shit. needs a good hour to gravitate. smoke and sit through that shit. i don't know how to do too much in it, just select paths, join them for group stuff, pretty easy to figure out.

where i like inkscape is if you copy a form before you tweak it, the tweaks go to every copy, which makes it easy to eg. copy stuff radiating in a circle or in mirror image, then tweak them to interweave.

iirc save your work every minute or so, usually have to restart a few times.
