So I am not here to bash the brother Franco or Arjan, I met Arjan briefly and he was very gracious, and I met Franco and we spoke for like 15 min, and he ended up gifting me a 5 pack of Kings Kush fem, that was in 2013. fast forward to now. I ended up giving 3 out of the 5 to my friend who has yet to crack them, I cracked the 2 I had, few months back, Vegged for 2 months, put them into flower 2 weeks ago, and bam, all nanners, they ended up both being males. It bites because they both have an amazing smell and structure, stout and stocky plants. I took some pics I might post if I get around to it. Bottom lime I so was pissed because I was truly looking forward to having some KK that was gifted to me by the brother Franco.

Has anyone else had this happen from a 5 pack of fem KK?

what are you whining about? m/f ratios are 50% you popped 2 and gave 3 away. your friend most likely has 3 girls. next time give away the f2's you made. duh.

The op got fem seeds directly from Franco. Last time I checked, fem seeds have a nearly 100% female to male ratio(with the exception of hermie's). What he got was a real fluke of nature, getting two males out of a pack of fems.

I didn't see anything about him saying he made f2's, so DUH?

I have got a male plant a couple of times from supposed fem seeds. Once was with Emerald Triangle Seeds, and the other time was from THseeds. I have run lots of greenhouse strains and never got any males.

Yep, I never had a male from their fems..... Last male I had from gh was their white rhino many moons ago when they sold regs.... It crossed lovely with ssh

The people who make seeds for them occasionally have mix ups and accidents, but a full blown hermie is more likely a stress related issue IMO.

After reading all the post I wish I did. I got ride of them asap, has space is limited and I did not want to seed what little I have.

Not whining, simply posting my results to a relevant place for all to see and compare.

I would of at least tried to harvest some pollen but I was worried that it was some bunk hermie pollen.

In response to the stress issue, I doubt it, they had been nurtured from day one.

We grew the Kings in a basement which hit 60-70s .F in the winter. They were floppy plants of pure dank. Grape hints on diesel smelling nugs . Good density good yield . cage them up or trellis them. We were feeding them 20g of maxibloom in DWC with a few different additives from AN (Bigbud , Bud candy ,Over drive) Epsom salts , liquid kelp Folair feeds in veg diluted to almost nothing. They are not heavy feeders . But they were stand outs along with dinafem blue widow .

We grew 3 KK from seeds flowered them in 30 days . The KK is a slow vegging plant . Thus we still managed to pull 12 oz from a 600w HPS dry . Rock hard golfballs . Kings also throws awesome colors if u flush her properly. This was one time I wasn't disappointed with GHS Recommend u lollipop this lady 40-50% from the bottom . Focus on the tops and manage her flop in mid flower. Feed her lightly .

Blue widow was taking 2x the additives the KK was . Don't know what caused your hermie issues ? But the KK was great to me . Like I said she was grown under cold/temps on light fed schedule . Left alone for 6 days at a time . Don't let the small looking nugs on this strain fool anyone . They become rock hard in 63-70 days. Pure couchlock . Can put one to sleep fairly quick if u have low tolerance . Great for melting away body aches , sleep , induces hunger . would be great for someone battling chemo
