So it's obviously a Hybrid. Dubi told me they are trying to get rid of the long flowering sativa's?? Mistake.
Hey Vin, I see the Zamadelica STD is on their catalog (ACE), and the description of Malawi indicates 100% sat. What I see from the threads they seem pretty honest about the genetics.

I lived in Malawi for 10 years and never grew the seeds it was easier to buy it, but I did have plants grow from seeds I had discarded when rolling joints and the leaves were mainly quite broad not thin like some people think of sativas. i dont doubt that Malawi does have broad leaves for a sativa so this does not indicate it has been mixed with Indica.
In fact i never saw a very thin leaved plant untill I left Africa.

The fan leaves are decently thick like an indica and the plants is decently squat, IDK, I'll be posting pics soon.
Read this it tells you which Malawi generation lines are which. Only the second gen Malawi is still crossed with their Old Malawi Killer.

"Old Killer: It's the overpowering original killer Malawi mother that we have used to start all our breeding with Malawi. It's a vigorous sativa of medium height and strong branching, with very high resin production of huge size. Its effect is extremely powerful, dense and psychedelic, lasting more than 4 hours. It has a classic african taste: woody and oily. The yield is high when grown with long vegetative times and strong light intensity. It takes 11-13 weeks to fully mature, depending on the growing variables. This is the line that produces closer plants to the original old killer Malawi clone."

All of the other Malawi gen lines will have wider leaves. Malawi doesn't really have super thin fan leaves. Even the oldest ones I've seen still have semi-wide leafs. Some of the older Malawi which if grown outdoors may have gotten pollinated by a Thai which are near by usually which might explain why some Malawi that people bought were slightly different with thinner leaves. Hard to tell for sure exactly what seeds people bought in Malawi because cross winds can pollinate for miles and miles. Ace for sure is doing their best with all of the genetics. Number one breeder in my book. The two Malawi's I did both where more on the Fruity (P3) side.

"Fruity (P3): Sister of the new Killer Malawi, it has a very similar expression in terms of size, flowering time and structure, but stand out for its more interesting aromas of mature mandarine, sweet carrot and flowers. This is the line where you can look for the Malawis with better taste and more refined terpene profile. The potency and yield are still very high."

If you purchase the Malawi Breeder packs you receive 5 of each gen and they currently have 4 gens out. Hope this helps.

Glad you got extra man. They must have given you one extra of each for buying a breeder pack but on their website it clearly states you only will receive 5 of each and there are 4 generations. Very nice of them as they usually are known for doing these things . My 5 pack of Bubba Kush x Hash Plant had 7 in it so no complaining here . The extra freeies you get for over 100 euro are amazing. Why I always split up my orders for more freebies. I think Dubi quoted that the 11-13 was with tropical lighting which is 11/13 where they live. The 3 Malawi I ran went 14 weeks. Could have went 16 but they were on 12/12, lots of stretch with 12/12. 11-13 weeks for sure with 11/13 light regimen. Good vibes on your Ace gear no doubt it will turn out great.

https://www.aceseeds.org/malawibreederpackfem.php

Note on the side it states:

Feminized lines available (5 feminized seeds/líne) :

- Old Malawi killer x New P3 killer Malawi reversed

- New P3 Malawi Killer S1

- P3 fruity x New P3 killer Malawi reversed

- P2 Purple Malawi x New P3 killer Malawi reversed

The regular version is Standard lines available (10 standard seeds/line) :

- Old Malawi killer x 3rd generation males

- New P3 Malawi Killer x 3rd generation males

- P3 fruity x 3rd generation males

- P2 Purple Malawi x 3rd generation males

Here's my keeper Malawi out of the 3 which was the best, not by far though. Week 14 harvest should have let her go till week 16 as the effects for me were chest tightening because of the power.

dr. king can you tell me wich one that is in the pic ? I only opened 2 of the new killer for this season due to high female rate out of purple haze x Malawi and the bangi haze. yes they sale the breeder fems as 5 of each but they give 6 at least that is what I got. I spent over 200 euro so I got to chose 2 free packs that's how I ended up with 12 guat. and the 6 Malawi x pck fem limited edition and I have tried 2 of these as well to see if they can handle the humidity where I live. that Malawi looks killer by the way. is it grown organic

Thanks man. Oh that's nice I didn't know if you went over 200 you still got two freebies, for that tip. Will help in the future for sure especially getting breeder packs. I got the P3 fruity x New P3 killer Malawi reversed one. The effects/smells are as advertised, mandarine and sweet carrot where heavy and very tasty. Hope all goes well with your babies, humidity is a bitch . She was done in 100% pure coco. Used Advanced Nutrients Ph perfect for the win in my opinion. Good luck all.
