TRH Triple Test

OK this is a long time coming, but finally here. I am testing 3 strains:

1). Purple Trainwreck x Pakistani Citral Kush

2). Purple Urkle x Super Skunk (was to be abbreviated PUSS but I guess I will just spell it out)

3). Afghooey Super Skunk (was going to abbreviate as ASS, afgoo x ss was suggested instead, might just as well spell it out fully I guess)

First pic is the germination in a plug tray, then there are pics of them in a 48 pack and finally what really matters, them in 18 packs. There are also 7 Blubonic which I will omit in future postings.

I numbered them from left to right, 1-18 for the first tray, starting at 19 for the 2nd and so on.

{edit: this numbering scheme is for the 18 packs, almost the same for the 200 pack and 48 pack, except there were more plants, so the current #39 may not be the #39 in the plug tray or 48 pack; it can be figured out based on my notes here but too much in a fog for that now}

1-7 = Blubonic (started 10 seeds, 9/10 germ, 9 put into 48 packs, but 2 were weak and didn't make it. possibly dampened off, 7 now)
8-17 = Purple Trainwreck x Pakistani Chitral Kush (not sure if 2 seeds in one cell or not, so not sure if 10 or 11 total, 10 made it to 48 paks, still 10 plants)
18-26 = Purple Urkel (or is it Urkle?) x Super Skunk (13 seeds, 12/13 germ but 2 of those only sprouted and failed to reach seedling stage, possible damping off even though I was careful to only moisten soil when really needed; 10 made it to 48 pak and 1 was weak and died, so 9 left)
27-46 = Afghooey Super Skunk (23/24 germ (?), 23 into 48 paks, 20 now).

let me know on ideas for suitable abbreviations, although it is not that hard to copy and paste. thanks

OK, I rotated the pics.... so, the 3rd pic is tray 1, and #1 is on the bottom left corner of the tray and next to it width wise is #2 and so on... can you understand I hope? So, pic #3 is the entire tray one, pic4 is the first half of tray one, and pic 5 is the 2nd half (10-18) of tray 1. The rest are the same idea, the 6th pic being the entire tray 2 (#'s 19-36), and the last pic (tray 3) is the last 10 afgoo x ss along with some ugly clones that may not make it.

Pic 1: 2/23 0r 2/24, germination (furthest to your right and to the back is #1, next to it #2 and so on until the furthest back right is #10).
Pic #2: date unknown, late feb or early march, in 48 pack, front left is #1, next to it (to your right) is #2 and so on).
Pic #3: Tray 1, plants 1-18. And I believe the rest I explained previously.

sorry, I did not mention I started these on the 18th, and took the first pics on the 23rd of February, and the most recent ones on the 18th of this month. Any questions or comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Plants require 18 essential nutrients to grow and survive, classified by their importance into macronutrients (C, H, O, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) and micronutrients (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, Cl, Co, Ni). Study Tip!
  • Nutrients may be mobile or immobile in the plant and in the soil, which influences redistribution of nutrients and display of deficiency symptoms, and the fertilization of crops.
  • Nutrient demands change throughout the life of the plant, in general increasing during vegetative growth but decreasing during reproductive development.

[edited, rotated pics properly]

Why did I grow blubonic or why did I post their pics? If the latter, you are completely right, I will not include them in the future pictures, sorry about that. Those square pots they are in come all connected in a sheet and I got a box of those like 12+ years ago for a flower growing adventure that never materialized. They can separate out for individual flower pot sales. I often tear them though when trying to do that, a razor blade is a solution for that though (although even then I sometimes tear them). I will take more pics soon and will take out the Blubonic's.

If you meant "why of any strain did you do that one": well, I had it and was listening to an old Russian Balalaika record and one of the words sounded like "blubonichki", so I felt it was a sign!
I had wanted to better the chances of a certain number of females and had no better way of deciding (I usually do but nothing was coming to me this time). I hope these do not have a bad reputation! OK so off to modify things.
