Mystery Plant A
Some of you have heard or seen of our Mystery Plant. It popped up in unimproved soil in the area where we used to grow tomatoes.
Stupid me thought it must be a tomato. I mean I plant lots of beans but not in the tomato patch or anywhere around it. Nancy Wife had to hit me on the head and LOOK. Furthermore, the Mystery Plant doesn't look like anything I've grown. From it's looks I'm going to assume it's an Indica. Whatever it is (and you're all free to guess) it's turning into Godzilla. I just noticed the sprout about 3 weeks ago and look at her now! Nancy pinched her twice. I'm saying her cause I hope it's a girl. If not we're going to have some real beefy pollen. Yours, Dr. jay

Hey, my first thought too was Sativa but those leaves tell me it's probably not. Who knows? To the right of the Mystery Plant is an Alibi (Texas Mystic) that I popped and placed in the ground after we discovered the Mystery Plant. It's a real shrimp compared to the Godzilla plant.
The MP is growing inches every day. BTW, I DO keep the beans in the fridge. Oh, there's some Alibi F-2's floating around but I don't think this is Alibi. Nancy just pinched the MP two days ago and it's ready to be pinched again. We're adding a shade cloth and some other items. We have helicopters here all the time. Now, if my stepkids and their friends will just leave it alone. Nancy says "oh they won't notice it". Yeah, right. You mean a bunch of SoCal teens wouldn't notice a giant pot plant? Yours, Dr. Jay

Hmmmm....we may be closing in on the identity of the Mystery Plant.
After the MP appeared I put four tiny seedlings down about 2 weeks behind the MP. Here's a pic of one of them. Do they look at all alike? Yours, Dr. Jay

Ah, an update on the Outdoor Alibi Godzilla plant formerly known as the Mystery Plant.....
Well, it's nearly flower time. You can see where we hope to soon find flower clusters. Godzilla broke out of her cage this morning and continues to reach. She was just 4' tall two days ago and now she's going for 5'. Amazing. Yours, Dr. jay

Beautiful plant Dr. Jay
How many Texas Mystic plants did you go through to find your Sativa Alibi keeper? I've got Lonestars Blue Tooth going right now and some of his Sweet Dirty Widow waiting in the wings. The Blue Tooth is going insane and I just tossed them into flower. keep it green Tex |
